    Other Boleyn Girl

    Hi Buckledown,

I read this about a year ago and loved it! Have you seen the movie as well? I belong to a book group that read the book and then went to see the film when it came out. I've always been fascinated by Henry VIII and his six wives, especially Anne Boleyn.

    Unsure

Just started this book this week (about 200 pages into it so far). It is a definate page turner. Have not seen the movie yet, but the movies are never as good as the books.

      Enjoying it immensely.

I read it too! Loved it. However, it got me reading the trilogy that starts with "Wideacre," also by Philippa Gregory. Now those are freaky! Think before you start with them. I'm on the third book and had to take a break.

The main character seems to have no problem with murder.........and it gets worse. I couldn't put it down!!!!!!!

There are three, good and thick books. Wideacre, The Favored Child and Meridon. Since the Boleyn movie came out, they are sort of hard to find. If you can, buy all three, or at least the first two.

I totally agree with you about books vs. movies. My imagination is much better than any movie could be.

Let me know when you start Wideacre!
