very cool product. i read an article about a woman who only used a solar oven and lived off the land. my friends would think i had lost what little bit of my mind i had left. i bet niblet would like this.

I am intrigued but I have many trees so there is not really a spot that has consistent sun. I make sun tea on top of black grill. Will have to ponder this. What about animals?

animals? you mean safety for them? lets see... I guess they would sense that it is hot and not touch it. anyway my understanding is that the outer pot doesn't get that hot anyhow as the energy is inside the glass chamber.

No, det... I mean destructo dog. Or racoons or skitty or squirrels. Mainly destructo dog. They know hot is hot but they could knock it over and wait and eat up my supper.
