    Quick Question About Libido

    Hey I got a quick qusetion a about sex drives and i need honest answers im 39 and in decent shape 6 foot 180 lbs sober I have no need for sex but drinking i cant keep my hands off of my lovely bride of 14 years? which leads me to my problem she likes me sobe most of the time but she tends to knock me of the wagon so she can have her way way with me. It's Hard gettin back on the waggon as you all know so i'm lookin for some help to boost my libido its not a vigra thing it works i just dont see the point if that makes any sense. by the way im on 200mg of topa now trying to catch that wagon again. any help would be greatly appreciated by me and my woman

      I'm the opposite sex but I think it is the same for me with the topa ( I take 150mg).....it takes away the drive (want) I believe. One of the bummer side effects. Have your wife give you a Message every now and then instead of the booze!

        i'm sorry if was to much info but i posted in the guys section hoping to find some help and tried to be as subtle but relay as much info as i could with out being pornogaphic did not mean to offend anybody but im sure im not the only one with this side affect of sobriety

            Mike I'll try and be as candid and open as possible with you without being 'pornographic'!!

            My sex life with my partner was fucking abysmal and bordering on the non-existent. My girlfriend and I nearly always had sex when we were drinking or taking drugs. I've had some amazing times while taking coke, speed, e's etc but could never manage to ejaculate while taking them. Drinking was different though and it somehow was less erotic and it became more of a 'chore' towards the end of our relationship. I nearly always had sex with her when I was drinking and it was never as good as when taking the drugs. After we split up and about 2 or 3 months into my sobriety I had the most horrendous sexual urges and it was all due to the fact that I wasn't drinking anymore and my libido was returning to it's natural state. Alcohol is a real natural born killer in my eyes and I sometimes wonder just how the fuck I managed to stay with my ex for so long with such a shit sex-life. I think like a lot of things our bodies need adjusting to all kinds of new things that have been deadened for so long and in my case my libido came back with a vengeance and no fuck'n outlet in site (apart from Mrs. Palm and her 5 lovely daughters!!). Sex for me was great on drugs and shite on booze but the best sex will always be sober sex and I proved that to myself after becoming sex-buddies with my ex for a short period after we split up.

              Mike,
              I have to echo Hippie, my sex life got a lot better after I sobered up. Drinking made me want sex, but I was not good at it when I was loaded. So, yeah, it does get better friend, just takes a little time.

                I know this person from another couple of websites and I follow her diet. You might want to read to see what she has to say. I swear by the fish oil!

                It's called the Orgasmic Diet. She's spent a lot of time researching it.

                  Be forewarned that my diet works the same on men as well as women--it increases libido, it increases sexual pleasure, it increases bloodflow to the genitals, and most importantly it speeds up orgasm. If you aren't crazy about that last effect, you might want to avoid it.


                  yeah think I'll avoid that one then!!!!lol

                  Interesting link though allowingtoo will deffo read up a bit more on the actual diet plan. Maybe somehow I can avoid that last effect and work around it!!!lol

                    I don't do the whole diet but I do take 7 fish oil caps every day. She wanted to put me in her book but I turned it down - color me embarrassed.

                    She spends a lot of time on Male boards so she is very knowledgeable about Men's issues. She's even taught me a couple of things for my husband and he was very glad to learn about
