    THURSDAY NOV 6TH

    wow! First one to post and it's already after 7am (mnt.)!!
    Good morning everyone. I'm just havin' a cup of joe (haven't given up that caffiene yet) and getting things wrapped up before I fly out tonite. I'll be heading to Spokane, but will be back tomorrow night.
    Had a great day yesterday. Despite my indulgence on Wednesday night, I was still very productive yesterday. Got an AWESOME run in, did lots of errands, got the house chores done, etc. etc. It's amazing what I can do when my two older kids are out of town. They're back now though. And off I go.
    Everyone have a FABULOUS day!!

    Good morning everyone!

    MM--glad you had a good day!! I doubt I could ever give up coffee!

    Now I have all my house chores to do today! Cleaning, laundry...ick! As I mentioned in another thread, I told my kids I would take them to see Madagascar 2 if they help me clean after school today!!! Not above bribery!!!! Whatever works......

    I will be on and off today....probably more on.....lmao!!

        Not much going on here, off to work, my late night so I get to go in a little later. Spending this morning tracking an unauthorized charge to my credit card......all customer service reps are currently busy, try again later....hmmmmm...will try a few more times, if I have no success I will contact my credit card company...what a waste of morning!!!

              Well, I COULD have slept in, if they would have called school off earlier!! Having a pretty good ole blizzard here today! Very happy to be inside, warm and safe with my children today!

                    Greetings abbers!!

                    Another great day out?but looks like the weather will change soon, so I will enjoy it while it?s here. Ugh, my internet has been spotty, it was out for 12 hours yesterday, and down again this morning. Last time I lost it for a significant amount of time, I slipped. It?s my direct line to my life line

                    MM, was thinking about your slip. I would normally treat any big event?such as an election as a great reason to down a bottle of vino. I understand the little voice. I also understand the store and how that can be a very bad place to go when the beast is active.

                    Just a little thank you for all your unwavering support and encouragement! I have learned so much this year. Well, Jr. just turned a Gogurt into a stomp rocket?better go

                      A thought

                      OMW...regarding your "A Thought" post...last night reminded me of why I prefer to read than share. I was about to come on and post a bit....but was met with a post of:

                      "this once great country being headed towards socialism".....not sure who posted it....but I closed down the computer. The USA is still a great country, regardless of who is president. One person does not define the entire country. Second, a blatant post like that likely turned off at least 60% of US individuals who read it....as at least that many voted for the guy. And socialism...come on. And the last time I checked there are no gates holding us in...we are free to leave anytime we want...to go live in that "great nation" of our choice.

                      On that note...I will continue to read from time to time. I do enjoy reading the posts about paths to sobriety. Not politics. But I suspect many like myself, prefer to read...rather than get "involved".

                        KristinK....I think you have your threads crossed. My (A thought) thread was to encourage people who have slipped to come back. I think the post you refer is on the daily thread. That is one persons opinion and not that of the greater percent of the USA...we obviously know how they feel.

                          Kristin: I hope you will share on this thread, as we need many voices. I read back a little on the daily threads but couldn't find the one you are referring to. However, as OMW said, that's one person's opinion. I've noticed that there really isn't too much political talk on this thread, so I'm surprised.

                            I understood your thread. And I think it is pretty common for people to slip on this board, as I have read many over the last few weeks....so I don't think many would stay away just because they slipped. I would think that they would come back when they are ready and some may have just chosen this wasn't for them.

                            Which was sort of my point that crossed over to your thread.

                            Thanks for the luck...but I know that it is up to me and my responsiblty to change when I am ready. For now I will just read the sobriety threads from time to time....and skim over the others.

                              Hi All,

                              Things are OK here. I'm getting over a bad cold and have spent most of the week on the couch surrounded by Kleenex. But, no AL! I guess being sick is one way to keep the beast at bay. :H

                              I have to say I agree with KristinK in that I wish we could keep our religious and political opinions to ourselves, at least in this daily thread. I logged off when I saw the socialism comment, and it was a political thread in the general discussion area that made me stay away from MWO for several weeks, and I still don't read that thread much anymore.

                              Can we please keep focused on the problem we have in common? That is why I'm here!
