I too Believe. God is a great God. He is our Heavenly Father. He wants us to bring Him our burdens and our problems. I too wouldn't be here if it weren't for Him. The day I accidently found this program, I had begged Him for help. I know He is supposed to give us the strength to do what we have to do, but I sure don't feel very strong when it comes to giving up my companion/ wine. That's why I think He led me here to gain strength from one another. I like the chorus we sing at church. "God is good all the time, all the time God is good" and also another song that I have adopted as my prayer, "One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus." That is how we have to accomplish our goal, one step at a time (one day at a time) When I look at the big picture of what I'm facing, it scares me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about God. My friend desperatly needing help just finished 30 day in 12 step and already on a major binge.
What simple few things can we do quickly?

I love re-reading this .... and now Bear is sitting with God too ... makes me sad ... but happy that we have eternal life through Jesus Christ ...
