Place chocolate chips in microwavable mixing bowl. Slowly melt the chips. I do 30 seconds at a time, then stir. When melted stir in walnuts and marshmallows. Pou mixture into pie pan and allow to harden. Remove and break into pieces. Enjoy!

I made homemade TOOTSIE rolls too...I hate to say what they look like but the kids are sure to LOVE em. Gonna get Choc Chips on my way home and make some rocky roads for our Christmas guests..I wish you could go with me...we would have a BLAST, eating ourselves SILLY.

LTG, Love the ROCKYS...Just had a piece with my coffee YUMMY YUM !!!!They are almost gone...booHoo.
This recipe has inspired me on what to do with all the left over candy canes.I am gonna smash them with a hammer and melt white choc chips and add a drop of red food coloring and make INSTANT VALENTINE CANDY...Good idea...and it all started with rocky roads.
Just think what else we could make ???

I think Rocky Road is a concept. I will make it with walnuts, almonds and dried cranberries, for a nutritional boost. No marshmallows for me - just chocolate! The smashed candy canes is also a good idea.
