You made the right decision.

Life is about decisions.

1. Am I going to have the practical
car or the fast car?

2. Shall I go to college or get a job?

3. Will I have wine, beer or water?

Whatever decision you make is the ONLY one you could make.

Otherwise you would have made a different one.

Everything we do, we choose.

So what is there to regret?

YOU are the person you choose to be.

I read this in a book yesterday - i haven't read a book for years - I would have to put down my glass to hold it and my eyes wouldn't focus anyway!!! I
It just made me think.

I CHOSE to drink, then drink CHOSE me . I must not look back and regret it because to look back is to fester. I CHOOSE to look ahead and move on. I CHOOSE not to drink. I CHOOSE to have a life.

God I'm boring myself now !!!

I hate making choices, I always seems to have made the wrong ones in my life! This sometimes has paralysed me when I have been faced with having to make a choice.

Then I got to thinking well I chose Jesus not a bad choice and I chose to have my son who wasn't planned - another good c hoice. Now I am chosing every day not to drink - another bloody good choice.

But tonight i could murder a drink help me Lord not to make that choice.

Temptation

1 CORINTHIANS 10:13 SAYS:

"THERE HATH NO TEMPTATION TAKEN YOU BUT SUCH IS COMMON TO MAN; BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL, WHO WILL NOT SUFFER YOU TO BE TEMPTED ABOVE THAT YE ARE ABLE; BUT WILL WITH THE TEMPTATION ALSO MAKE A WAY TO ESCAPE, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO BEAR IT."

I have spiral note cards that I keep near with scripture as this. When I need it I'll pull it out and pray it back to God and remind Him .....hey, you said.....I need to call that in now....pleaseeeeee!:l

That is so true! I felt like that a few weeks ago.. My class was ending and I had no idea where the money for my next two classes would come from. Yeah, I started telling God..."We are running out of time here" and I started my new classes this past weekend! Sometimes I guess I just had to keep the faith and wait on God! I love the class that I started Saturday, and looking forward to the next class..

I know what you mean.
My son is getting married the end of September and they are both looking for jobs. They have finished college and my son is in grad school....so far they have followed God's leading but right now with so many changes coming up, it's hard to "Be still" and listen for the next instruction from Him. We "earthy" parents want to pick up God's slack, or what we see as slack and get things done! Sometimes this is not what is best for our children. Only He knows how to give good and perfect gifts!

Congrats on you classes! I know you will do well!
