I plan on starting a running program....It has been at least 15 years since I last ran...so I was trying to find something to motivate me...and I thought, "Hey, maybe as a team, we could run/walk/bike around the world this year". I don't know if anyone would be interested, but here it is.

The good news...we can add 4.5 more miles to our trek around the world today. Hooray!

The bad news...I have absolutely NO IDEA how to add the miles to the kms! :H

Okay, I'm back...mile conversion is 3.10685 miles for 5 kms...so we are at a grand total of 12.10685 miles or 19.4840864064 kms! Good grief. What shall we use?

Dang, I thought this was a running thread, I don't run unless someone with a BIG knife is chasing me, or there is a lightening storm.

I've been walking the dogs a lot. Okay, tonite I'll strap on my watcha ma call it, that tracks distance and add my total to yours. I walked 2-3 times around the big park but that doesn't help.......

Just a quick pop in...going back to work this week and running has proven to be an obstacle. I leave when it is dark, and I come home it is dark. I hope to make up for it this weekend. I will add the totals on Sunday. Thanks for being here everyone!!!
