Actually I can do that particular haka (the one that is performed internationally is one of many thousands) but tradtionally it is only performed by blokes. Women participate in kapa haka, which includes haka but their role is mainly in poi (hard to describe what this is, although you may have seen iit!! But think little flax balls on strings ......) and waiata a ringa (action songs)

Kapa haka very big here ............and fabulous to watch!!

                              mario,

I dont understand this .... If England was playing Ireland in your time (and lost), and the Lions were playing the Hurricanes (my local team) in my time (and lost), doesn't this mean that they should get their best players out of both teams to get a team that could beat at least one of us??!!

                              Am a missing something here??

                              signed,

                              a rugby wannabe
