Today is day 5 for me! I haven't done 5 days abstinent for at least 5 years. Its a wonderfu feeling waking up in the night without the self loathing feeling. I am beginning to like my life.

I know (from experience) what a relief it is to have that self-loathing start to melt away. It's a wonderful thing, and just think: this is only the beginning of a brand new life!
