Has anyone read about the work of prof David Nutt at Imperial College London? Basically he is inventing an alternative to alcohol called synthetic alcohol. One article I read said it could be available by 2012. There might be hope for us all yet! Sorry I do not know how to post the link but there is lots on google if you are interested.
