Thank God there is a place where those affected with the abuse of acoholism has a place to go. I think that those who have this demon on their back have an extremely hard time, my father did and he died before he got a hold on it. But it is nice to also have a place to let the friends and family express their feelings without having excess guilt place upon them for saying " Hey I can't help you anymore". This is a battle that those who are in the midst of it have to say "I have to quit because I want to" not because of ultimatiums. Just a note I think this site has had more helpful information than any site I've been to. I like the links that supply a wealth of info and I hope that my loved one can see that there is hope for him, if not for us.
