    1 MONTH TODAY !!

    1 month ago today i began this Alcohol free journey. what a difference a month can make. things are going great.
    because i have not been spending 20 -30 $ a day on booze i have been paying more money on bills which in turn has stopped them from calling. (at one point i thought my phone was broke) My kids have been able to do more extra things like snowbaording and buying much needed clothes. My house is cleaner, my husband is happier, I can drive anywhere anytime and not worry about it interferring with my drinking. I can go out to dinner and order tea and water. I have not thought about "OMG what time is the liqour store closed" I still have money in the bank when payday rolls around.. IMAGINE that.. that hasn't happened in years.. I love this and I feel fantastic.

    and more importantly i do not crave booze, when i think about it the thought is fleeting. Moderation is not in the cards for me but thats okay.. i understand.

    I am still taking it 1 day and 1 hour at a time.

        I reckon acceptance of this is one of the keys to successful sobriety,

          I remember you coming on board, and I for the life of me can not believe it has already been 30 days....that is magnifico!! You have every right to be very proud of your ability to quit drinking.

          Its amazing what sort of changes suddenly happen when we stop....more money, clean house, better all over feeling of wellness. Well now that you have seen what 30 days can do, I trust you will continue to stay away from AL and you shall see more improvements.

          Man, your family must be soooooo proud of you! :goodjob:

          And of course you are a very deserving recipient of the Nelzstar....keep it up

                        I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

                        Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

                        Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                            i am very proud of myself. and i don't want it to stop. which is the best feeling. i am not Mourning the loss. i think i went throught he 5 stages of grief over the last year at various times and i am hopefully at "acceptance"..

                            and a nelz star !!! .. 2012 is starting out fantastic..
