L-Tryptophan and Lexapro a problem????

Hi there...need help again....ordered Roxy's tryptophan and then got a blurb that it was not safe with Lexapro......does anyone have experience with this???? I think the pharmacy grade trypto was like $45......it is still sealed in the bottle as I am afraid to take it with the Lexapro and stopping the Lexapro did not do well for me........thanks for your help!!! Read this thread, before you open your L-Tryptophan, it does mention Lexapro towards the end of the article.

I was told by my doctor that 5-HTP or L-Tryptophan was a holistic/generic form of Lexapro and you may overdose.

I'm on Lexapro and had a BAD reaction (major panic/anxiety attack) with 5-HTP, so I would not take it. I think you'll be fine with the Lexapro.
