I just found a carrier bag with an England rugby shirt in it lying abandoned on the pavement - I can't believe it's been thrown away.

Those bags are worth 5p now!

How can people moan about five pence for a carrier bag?
Fck me I've payed a pound for every trolley In my garden.

Report suggests that washing dishes after a long day helps to relieve stress.

I can't wait to see how chilled out my wife will be after she's done the load I've left for her.

supermarkets are worried people will steal thew shopping baskets instead of paying the 5p carrier bag charge

too late ..Im making a fortune knocking out hamster cages!!

I've heard E.L. James is writing a story about pretentious Marxist students who all write dissertations on the exact same subject.

It's called "50 Grades of Che."

My son's teacher phoned me this afternoon.

He said, "I've just caught your son snorting cocaine with a rolled up £20 note."

"You're joking?" I said. "Where the feck has he got that from?"

He said, "I've got no idea."

"Hang on a minute," I said, "let me just check my wallet."

Anyone else wonder if the Queen ever props her quilt cover up to her neck whilst in bed and says "Look Philip, I'm a stamp!"?

    First woman on the Moon:
    "Houston, we have a problem."
    What?
    "Never mind."
    What's the problem?
    "Nothing."
    Please tell us.
"You know what the problem is."

One day Kyle's dad brought home a robot. The robot was special in that it could detect a lie and would slap the person who lied on the face.
Kyle returned late from school that day and his dad asked him, "Son why are you late from school?"

Kyle answered, "Dad, we had extra classes today".

Much to his astonishment the robot jumped up and slapped Kyle on his face.

His dad told him, "Son this robot is special in that it can detect a Lie and will then slap the person who lied. Now come on tell me the truth.

    Why are you late?"

"Dad, I went to a movie"

    "Which movie?"

    "The Ten Commandments"

Immediately, Kyle got a slap on the face from the robot.

"Sorry Dad, I went to see the movie Sex Queen".

"Shame on you son, when I was your age I never watched obscene movies or misbehaved" Immediately, the dad gets a tight slap on the face from the robot.

Hearing the last sentence, Kyle's mother comes walking out of the kitchen and sarcastically says to her husband, "After all he is YOUR son!!!"

To which the robot steps up and gives Kyle's mother a resounding slap on her face!

    morning all
beautiful day yesterday and today looks to be the same. Visited multiple places in a different county, off to do the same county today.

Mick, thanks for the brew, knees are quite a complex piece of the ol body. Back in the spring I injured mine and the thing still gives me trouble.

Det, glad to see you about, good luck with the time adjustment.

    PQ, stress not!!

    off to it dear friends

      Good Tuesday morning Abbers!

Sunny & cool, just the way it should be this time of year

Mick, you have a torn meniscus? Ouch!!!
Sometimes they are repaired surgically but that opens another can of worms - so to speak. You are just going to have to get used to taking it easy friend! Always be nice to your knees

Hi there Sam, I hope you enjoy this nice weather too!

Det, good to see you check in. I sure hope your boss responds to your request - soon!!

Have a great AF day everyone, time for me to hit Curves!

I like the woman on the moon too, thanks Mick Det,I agree that I think the job is too much,I dunno what you do but all that traveling doesn't sound good for someone in recovery, but what do I know? I have tried L-tyrosine but not on its own it was in a blend of other stuff but the company is based out of oz and they quit selling it here it seemed to make me calm, yet focused, Sam,we got buckets of rain here too, wrecks everywhere cuz Vegas people dunno what brakes are! Pie,I love your suggestion of Mick using his coins in a project, that would look really cool,PPQP,I'll miss your posts but if its stressing you out, then off it goes, take care, hello Lav,Bear,NS,let's have a kick ass Tuesday peeps

You got some good advice from Lav there, Mick. Be nice to your knees and beware of worms!

Hey PQ, pop in when it suits you. And don't forget to BREATHE.

Det, you must accumulate a lot of frequent flyer miles in your job. What do you do with them all?

Sam, your conservation job sounds like it makes you happy. Send us a pic if you come across something interesting today.

A kick-ass Tuesday sounds like a grand plan to me, Pauly. Though I'm not sure what that might look like in my world.

Off now to enjoy wagging tails and another sober day.

Hey there, back after a long day, told boss exactly how I've been feeling and what i need him to do for me as manager,we'll see if he does it.I need him to manage his line manager on my behalf in terms of her expectations and beliefs about the team/what we can deliver with the current staffing level.
Got really upset at comments from other teams in my leaver's card which I'm cicrulating, feel there is a bit of back stabbing aimed at me ' hope you'll be happier' and 'team will miss your experience'.
I may be being a tad over sensitive,it is a gossipy office. F**k it - just doing my job.
Just really need that break- final day in office this week tomorrow..

Mick....it's painful to me just hearing about the knee! Hope you are resting. I know that is not easy for you. I'm not sure what I'll do on the job front....the last week I was there I clocked 77 hours! When I quit the exhaustion set in and I was couch bound thinking I had the flu for 3 days. I'll find something that suits me and my family. Already kind of going stir crazy.....today I found a reason to go to Walgreens (drug store) just for the hell of it

Just read your post Det. I so get what you are going through, although I am really glad I never had to travel that much. Have you looked for anything else? As long as you have a track record of sales....there pretty much is job out there. Depending on what you want to do, it can suck to start at the bottom again. In my old field of media....you could pretty much hop around and get a decent list....but, that has all changed now. Now they want kids that they can brainwash into whatever bullshit they are selling that week. Media was a great job for a long time, but not now.

My son has developed some sort of digestive disorder. We go to see a gastro specialist tomorrow because nothing has really helped him. But, this started when I started that crazy job and I hope it's not stress related.

I had a torn meniscus about 10 years ago, I had it "scoped" and it is fine now. The surgery was relatively painless. it did take time to heal but not nearly the pain I had prior to surgery. I could hardly be in a car any length of time in a sitting position. Take er easy!!
