I had four tins of alphabet soup for dinner last night.

This morning, I had a massive vowel movement.

The Welsh have changed their system of organ donation to one of "assumed consent"

This is the same system they have successfully been applying to sex with sheep for centuries.

"Doctor Doctor, do you get pissed off with having the same surname as your profession?"

A keyring is a handy little gadget that allows you to lose all your keys at once.

My friends were amazed when I told them I can tell the future using herbs.
    "Is it true?" They asked
'Only thyme will tell' I replied.

I've just received a call from a mate who's fallen into a hole in the local cemetery and can't get out.

Sounds like he's in grave danger.

I was telling my dad about the never ending lollipop I bought.

"It's brilliant," I said to him. "I've been licking it for weeks and it's still the same size."

"That's great, son," he replied. "But I think you should take the wrapper off."

    honest ..I copied this one!!

There were three blondes stuck on an island and they had been there for a few days, when they stumbled across a magical lamp. One of the blondes rubs the lamp and sure enough a genie pops out and offers to grant each of them a wish.

The first blonde says, "Make me smart so I can think of a way to get off this island."

He points his finger at her, and she turns into a redhead. Then she heads to the water and swims towards land.

The next blonde says, "Make me even smarter than her so I can get off this island!"

So he points his finger and she becomes a brunette, and she builds a boat and sets sail.

The last one says "Make me smarter than both of them combined!!"

The genie points his finger at her and turns her into a man, the man then walks across the foot bridge back to mainland.

I filled my tank up with petrol this morning.

Now all the goldfish are dead

    8. It's a C, but it's a strong C.

    6. My, what nice, big margins!
    5. You must've been up all last night.
    4. The book ends differently than the movie.
    3. Spelling requires more than just sounding it out.

Barack Obama is visiting a primary school and he visits one of the classes. They are in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings. The teacher asks the President if he would like to lead the discussion of the word "tragedy."
So the illustrious leader asks the class for an example of a tragedy. One little boy stands up and offers: "If my best friend who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy."
"No," says President Obama, "that would be an accident."
A little girl raises her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy."
"I'm afraid not," explains the exalted leader. "That's what we would call a great loss."
The room goes silent. No other children volunteer. President Obama searches the room. "Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?"
Finally at the back of the room, little Johnny raises his hand. In a quiet voice he says: "If Air Force One carrying you was struck by a missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a tragedy."
"Fantastic!" exclaims the President "That's right. And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?"
"Well," says the boy, "because it sure as hell wouldn't be a great loss and it probably wouldn't be an accident either."

Hi guys and thanks for the kick off Mick!

Ten miles outside Manchester will be perfect as mum is in a nursing home just inside Manchester and I should go see the crazies in Salford whilst I am there. *shiver*

It is still being decided about finances so no plans will be made until the legal guys make their decisions.

In response to the question yesterday...... We in New Zealand are the exact reverse of Europe ......in February here it is the height of summer and in UK the depths of winter. I DO NOT want to go to the UK at that time tbh.

        Good morning Abbers, happy Humpday!

Mick, it's only the 2nd of December over here, ha ha!!
Be nice to yourself & start slowly on the treadmill, OK?
We're still dealing with rain here but it's supposed to end by tomorrow. My chickens are seriously up to their knees in mud.

        Hi there Kuya!
We are all looking forward to your trip in February. You can meet Mick & tell us what's really going on in his shiny head, ha ha!!!

Pauly, I remember my son freaking out when I came home with a shoulder length curly perm. Think 1982, it was all the rage & he was almost two at the time, LOL
I've never been a fan of face jewelry. My DIL has a nose piercing & now has some upper arm tattoos. not exactly professional looking but it's not my problem.
I would highly advise not taking any supplements on a empty stomach. I take mine with breakfast & dinner so there's no stomach issues. Besides, we absorb the supplements better when taken with food & our stomach acid doesn't destroy them

Hello to everyone, have a great AF day!
I'm off to Curves shortly then back to get some work done of course.

        Lav
        AF since 03/26/09

            morning all
soggy soggy day here. glad I got those piggies loaded when I did! Office work again looks like.

thanks for the brew, Mick. The wabbits will love their new digs, they just need a time getting used to something new. Light is something Lav recommended last year to me to keep them laying, it worked, in jest I thought of putting Xmas lights.

Morning Kuya, February is the middle of summer for you? Sounds like fun rearranging the seasons a bit and coming back to summer after a few weeks of winter.

Lav, it is slicker than a horse stall outside. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice though, thank goodness.

            off to it friends
            be well everyone
            Sam

X Post, Pauly, morning to you. there's lots that folks do to their bodies I don't understand but I know my folks said the same about long hair, etc. Generational thing I suppose.

              Hidy Hi ABerooooos!

back last night from a loverly vaycay in Vegas and Mt Charleston resort which is a cute little Alpine type of town at about 8K feet elevation.
Happily still AF and really enjoyed the down-time. Sadly I'm so scared of whats piled up in my inbox that I haven't looked. eeeek!

Sam, i think Xmas lights for the chickens would be stellar! and I'm sure they would love a little Jacuzzi. Speaking of Jacuzzi Dx and i got a free pass to the 'ultra luxury spa' at the Aria casino and it was fantabulous.

otherwise, tons of total pigging-out for Thanksgiving and enjoying music with my uncle and his family. They are a musician family so it's always grand to see/hear the kids playing drums/guitar/keyboard. Thankfully we did quite a bit of walking which helps.

Lav, hope yer mudfest dries up soon. icky!

shouts to Mick, Kuya, Pauly and all to come

              be well loves

hey everyone just whizzing in after long day at work,I've got a facial piercing, several earrings and big arm tattoos - haven't grown out of it either I'm 42.
I think how we look is our own choice,I choose to cover up my tattoos for certain work meetings. There are bigger issues to worry about I think
Mick I'm not sure what the right decision is re IS,but I hope they make it whatever it is.
Sofa and maybe a bath beckons, have a good evening.

Off to chill on the sofa.

I agree Bear with looking how we want, however we have jobs already,Michelle's dreads looked dirty and future employers would always ask if she was on drugs right off the bat,I'm all for uniqueness, I let the girls get a tattoo and a tongue piercing in their teens so like I said I'm a HUGE hypocrite!

Just goes to show how damn old I am Pauly, ha ha!!
I swear when I first graduated from college & went to work in a hospital we couldn't even wear nail polish or earrings. If someone had shown up with multiple piercings or tattoos I'm sure they would have been shown the door.
I don't care what others choose to do - their business, not mine

Hi there Sam, bear & Det!

The rain seems to be coming to an end. I have to drive to my granddaughter's in the early AM & I prefer fogless, dry roads, LOL

                    Peace to all tonight!
I'm watching news coverage on our latest mass shooting in CA - WTF is wrong with people???
