hiya kuya ...in the fat cats game nothing surprises me..look at the politicians here at the moment all this crap about tax evasion etc ..the arseholes are making it up as they go along and the eu referendum? another joke...well it would be if it was funny..glad you are doing well on the no sugar diet ......speaking of which....

hiya det and ppqp...hope you are both doing good...

right folks offski be good ..

As the hostess at the casino
buffet showed me to my table, I asked her to keep an eye out for my
husband, who would be joining me
momentarily. I started to describe him: “He has gray hair, wears glasses, has a potbelly …”

She stopped me there. “Honey,” she said, “today is senior day. They all look like that.”

Poor Old fool,” thought the well-dressed gentleman as he watched an old man fish in a puddle outside a pub. So he invited the old man inside for a drink. As they sipped their whiskeys, the gentleman thought he’d humor the old man and asked, “So how many have you caught today?”

The old man replied, “You’re the eighth.”

When a soldier came to the
clinic where I work for an MRI, he was put into the machine by an
attractive, young technician. Sometime later, when the examination
was over, he was helped out of the machine by a far older woman. The soldier remarked, “How long was
I in there for?”

    After trick-or-treating,
a teen takes a shortcut home
through the cemetery. Halfway across, he’s startled by a tapping noise coming from the misty shadows. Trembling with fear, he spots
an old man with a hammer and chisel, chipping away at a headstone.

“I thought you were a ghost,”
says the relieved teen. “What are you
doing working so late?”

“Oh, those idiots,” grumbles the old man. “They misspelled my name!”

While he was visiting, my father asked for the password to our Wi-Fi.

    “It’s taped under the modem,”
I told him.

After three failed attempts to log on, he asked, “Am I spelling this right? T-A-P-E-D-U-N-D-E-R-T-H-E-M-O-D-E-M?”

    In the hardware store, a
clerk asked, “Can I help you find
anything?”

“How about my misspent youth,” joked my husband.

The clerk shot back, “We keep that in the back, between world peace and winning lottery tickets.”

L.A. public pools don’t have lifeguards—[they] have life coaches. If they see you struggling in the water, they say, “Are you happy with the decisions you’re making?” and give you a pamphlet for a yoga studio.

I couldn’t decide whether to go to Salt Lake City or Denver for vacation, so I called the airlines to get prices. “Airfare to Denver is $300,” the cheery salesperson replied.

“And what about Salt Lake City?”

“We have a really great rate to Salt Lake—$99,” she said “But there is a stopover.”

    “Where?”

    “In Denver,” she said.

    During college, I worked on
a conveyor belt. One day, I was
on a blind date, and she asked me about my job.
“I work at the end of a belt,” I said.

With an ebullient smile, she asked, “Are you the buckle?”

OMG, Mick! That very thing actually happened at the garage sale yesterday. Item marked for $5, lady offered $4, said I'd take $6, so we settled in the middle! :welldone:

I'm not at all surprised at the oh, so positive reaction of the rescue peeps to your garden and hutch. If fostering is not for you, maybe volunteer to help with these home visits? Counseling others on their wabbit set-ups? Anyway, congrats on sealing the deal with Jeeves!

You all were right that sober me did just fine working with brother yesterday. We made a few bucks, had a few laughs, and ended the day with far less "stuff" than what we started with. Very positive, productive experience. Ended the day by becoming one with an epsom salt bath. Ahhh ... Thank you, NS!

Sam, how did the tune-playing go? Wish you lived closer, so I could pull up a chair and enjoy some live music.

            Afternoon greeting Abbers

Had my grandson overnight then had to get him home in time for Sunday school. I've been running around ever since.
Beautiful day today & no frost the past two nights so I am ready to plant some stuff. Cold hardy broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, that sort of thing, yay!

Mick, congrats on your Jeeves approval! I just knew you couldn't be turned down
You need a tube of superglue to keep in your pocket, ha ha!

Pie, glad your sale went well
So brothers can be trained to behave, huh? Lol

Pauly, have you gotten showered & dressed yet?
I am too hyper to sit all day & ends up with too many aches & pains. Better for me yo be in motion!!

Hi there to Sam, kuya, Det, PQ, NS, SF & anyone else popping in for a visit.
Have a lovely AF rest of the day kids.
