    Kudzu and L-glut

For anybody who gets there supps from here, which do you think works better for cravings? Kudzu rescue or L- glutamaine? Or should ya just use both? I have them both at home but I was thinking of ordering them from here maybe they are better.
    TIA

    Kudzu and L-glut

    Hi twinsmommy,

During my first 6 weeks AF. I used both. I bought the Kudzu from here, simply because from doing my own research, it really seemed to be the best. It is the formula used during the clinical trials. I purchased and continue to purchase the L-Glut at the health food store. What worked for me, was taking the Kudzu as prescrided, daily. I would also take the L-Glut in the AM with a booster at about 4 or 5 PM. I continue to use the L-Glut if I am "thinking" about AL. I really do believe these helped me enourmously!

    Take Care,
    KH

    Kudzu and L-glut

I didn't find that the Kudzu did much although it must have helped cos I took it in the early days and am getting better at this AF thing!!) The L-glut is like a wonder drug to me (most of the time...) and I use it regularly. But at your stage, why not do both? Why not get some from here as well in case it is better? Why not throw everything you have at this problem just now? Time, money, your own efforts. Isn't it going to be worth it in the long run? Just taking all the supps (several times a day) helps to focus your mind on why you are doing it. What about ditching all the booze in the house? Maybe in order to stop your wheel turning you have got to be just a little bit superhuman for a while?!! Think about wearing your pants outside your trousers and the Wonder Woman tiara thing.

Bessie, I love this! You rock. I also just bought kuduzu yesterday at the vitamin shop bc I was having serious cravings- I am new but have 5 days AF- woo hoo. This is where it gets dangerous bc I am feeling good so, of course, the beast wants to sabotage it. Sounds like I will have to go get L-glut as well. I know everyone is different but can us :new:newbies have input from everyone on how long it took for the sups to help reduce cravings? I know it is not a magical cure but it does sound like they help. As always, thanks everyone!!

Yes, twinsmommy, still AF just starting my 5th month!!! I can tell you, I am still amazed by this! Sober living is the BEST!!

Congrats, Bluesey! 5 days is terrific! You are right, there is "No Magical Cure", (well maybe Lenair!) but for many of us, that is not possible at the moment. But the "MWO Tools" do help, along with comittment and resistance to taking the first drink! By the way all.......comittment and resistance can be done one day at a time!!!

    L-Glutimous

    Hi!
I just read this thread from yesterday, although I don't know if it is my yesterday or whose. I just can't figure out the times on this forum!!! Whose time is listed anyhow??? Not mine, that's for sure.
So, I asked the same thing, as I stopped and picked up some L-Glut today too. I wonder though about taking it early in the day. I don't even think about drinking until about 10:30 at night - which by the way is approaching fast - I will do this AF day for sure. So, I wonder if it would be better for me to take the L-Glut in the late afternoon and evening, closer to when I will start to crave the wine. Hmmmmm...... Must figure this out!
It is not quite 10pm here and I think I will go have 1 or 2 ciggies (I don't smoke during the day), and then listen to the CD's. This will be a first for me - I hope it helps!
    Goodnight all!

    Kudzu and L-glut

If you will open up a L Glut cap and put the white powder under your tounge to be absorbed directly into your blood stream it will work very fast to stop a craving.........
this helps it get to your brain quicker......
