Vitamin B helped. As alkys we will always run the risk of B1 deficiency (Thiamine) I had a bit of luck with a mega B and a general supplement.
*Not Drinking* is the best strategy and you've got that down. So may be worth a trip to the skin specialist to exclude other causes like contact dermatitis and allergy.

It's all a great look, isn't it? I can't work out why I'm single. I mean, who wouldn't want to live with that?
I'd hate anyone to forget the blotchy skin, baggy and red eyes, premature aging and belching. Tres chic!

I put on a lot of pounds with my beer habit, but this week was forced to go buy new clothes to finish out the summer season, as the bottoms I have are just falling right off. Now that ought to be motivation enough to stay the AF path!

I hated all the sweating too, and the snoring.

Hmmm...somehow these descriptions are not matching up with the ads for alcohol I have seen. Isn't this drug supposed to make you fun, sophisticated, social and attractive?
I have been in bars where teams of bikini clad women came in promoting certain alcohol brands. None of them were bloated, bruised or had bags under their eyes.
Maybe I was just drinking the wrong thing...

Same as everyone else and one time my mom and I had been drinking together and I looked her age practically! At the time I was 42 she was 65 but the puffing and wrinkling were similar
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

MrG Young Satz believes himself to be in the 'tortured artiste' brigade too. ( think Brendan Behan - an out & out drunk who wasted his talent.)

According to him he's writing a play ......... Jesus ! Can't write his name sometimes.

Note : Behan Died at 41

@satz123-They had shot glasses in one hand and a bottle of booze in the other so I am assuming you are right.

Re: The Physical Signs...How did you know you were in trouble?

Thank you for this post. I’ve had most of what was mentioned, but I think it would be good to list for myself anyhow...

    Spider veins in face
    Bloated belly
    Foggy brain
    Blotchiness
    Weight gain
    Tired, red glassy eyes
    Heavy snoring
    Liver pain
    Bad breath
    Anxiety
    Depression
    Itchy skin
    Acid reflux
Red palms (I read due to liver damage)
    Swelled hands
    Heartburn
    Gastrointestinal issues/irritable bowel
Sleep apnea (don’t know for sure yet but believe result from al abuse)
Restless leg (again, not sure as I’ve had this since I was 38)
    Vitamin deficiencies
    Sweating (double whammy with menopause)
    Easy bruising
    No quality of sleep
    Super bad dreams
    Low self esteem, no confidence
Lack of energy, no energy, lack of motivation
    Using all my sick days
    Sandpaper mouth
