Wow, well done you. Did not know Brit took up running at 65. You are an inspiration ladies. Tried jogging years ago but did not take to it. Would walk for miles and enjoy the hill walking which is more challenging. Must get back doing it again. In the meantime better get my ass in gear and walk the doggies.

Morning all..well done Mary..sounds great..didn't realise you were still working from home...it's good you like it...lots don't I think!

Stirly 25 here is as hot as I want it..and too hot when I'm working...I absolutely hate being stuck indoors when the sun is blazing so for me our mixed climate suits me fine...a week away swimming and sunning is lovely but just couldn't live in it i was looking around when away and loving the beauty of our green country full of wildflowers and crops ready for harvest I am very very happy to live here..but like Mary and WFH ..you obviously love it...so it's great for you...just not for me!!!
Again just to send my condolences to Nora and her family xxx

We've got a sea fret again....so its damp and foggy.

I've cricked my neck......no idea how, but it isn't half painful

@Nora deepest sympathy for your loss and I'm sure you are right that your mom is at peace and amongst loved ones now
@techie I hope your mom is still doing OK
@IamMary good job on the coaching, that's a great thing to do

I came back from holidays full of positivity but am starting to feel defeated again with work. The house as well. I've made a sensible plan but am having trouble moving ahead with it so sitting tight till this frame of mind passes. Funny how there are good days and not so good days. This too shall pass haha
@JackieClaire hope your neck is feeling better soon
@brit what an inspiration! I'm 54 and would love to imagine I could start running or even dancing if I lose a little more weight. I'm not sure with my hips and ankle dramas if I can but its nice to imagine I might!
