Morning and waves to the world, @mollyka..............OMG The Stand...........I have a load of the books Stephen King wrote. Very pertinent at the moment. The Green Mile made me cry.
Same here with the hospitals and it doesn't matter which vaccine you've had.

Sorry about your house woes. Mr. JC has never been busier with people moving........wish he worked on commission.

Meeting Jenny and Ads, then picking my Aunt up and going out for Sunday dinner.

@brit............its the Great North Run today. Seems like a 100 years ago you stayed here. You're still one of the S&H's heroes. He thinks I'm a lazy mare.

@IamMary.............when we were over for my cousin's wedding a while back we managed two days in New York. We saw the ground zero memorial and got to say shed a few tears.

I'd better get a shift on.........

    Good morning everyone.

Fingers crossed that you are negative Bridget. We could be the same. Daughter was out in the city last night and like you will be royally peed off if it comes into the house after avoiding it for so long. It really is never ending and as Molly says we are all beginning to question what is going on.

Nope this house search is not easy Molly. We saw one yesterday, site perfect, cottage a dump. Price war already going on, hubby is going to bid tomorrow and we will see. Not getting my hopes up.

Well done Mr JC, send some of those vibes over here. Trying to be good and made very good choices when out to dinner Friday night. Prawn pil pil for starters and salmon for main. Absolutely delicious and I only stole a few spoons of his cheese cake.

Not sleeping is a pain Brit, maybe tonight will be better after your run. Glad you have plans. Nothing much planned for the day, walk with the doggies, that is it.

    Re: September Army 2021

House Market is nuts everywhere. Wouldn't you love to know if it will blow over.

Youngest is a confirmed close contact. Her best friend in school. Friend has no symptoms. Daughter has 1st vaccine, but not a 2nd yet. She's had the 1st test today and another in 10 days -movements are restricted for the duration. Total pain.

I know Molly about the hospital cases. My Dad's close friend and my sisters godfather passed this morning. He was riddled with cancer, but had some time left, until he got covid. Statistically, he's a fully vaccinated person who died from/with covid in hospital, but in reality, the cancer had him already.

Morning and waves to the world,
@mollyka...........Guess what...............the North are having a housing boom. My theory..............because so many have realised they could and can work from home with ease they're buying bigger and much, much cheaper than houses up here than the south. We're only 4 plus hours away from London by train.
One of our neighbours has now got their son and his partner living with them as they got gazumped at the last minute. We 'enjoyed' a good few minutes watching them put their stuff in our neighbour's garage. Of course, their son is passed himself............moving back home with mum and dad in your 30s hasn't sat well.

We had a lovely lunch. There are only 13 years between me and my aunt. She's more like a big sister than an Aunt. Ads and Jenny joined us as well.

Big fat hugs to our Whizzy.

    Re: September Army 2021

    Afternoon everyone.

Delighted you enjoyed your lunch JC and big hugs indeed to Brit.

It would be great to have a crystal ball Mary. I keep thinking whatís for you wonít pass you and not getting too invested. Mind you itís his dream not mine so that makes it easier. Do the whole family have to isolate or just your daughter. Canít keep up with who is meant to be doing what.

Very grey here today. Got my walk in so was glad about that. Work busy and again thatís good as the time goes faster.

    Re: September Army 2021

No it's just herself and its not isolation, just restricted movements, ie, don't leave the house.
1st test neg. Shes half vaccinated and her friend had no symptoms, so I believe both of those mean she's low risk, but who knows!
Funeral tomorrow, but not sure if I should go now, given even the idea that it's floating around in my house. Ah well, will watch online.
I think your spot on @JackieClaire, why would people want a city apartment if they could have a garden and space. Well, not me anyway.
But.. are the city prices going up too?

Drinking dream last night. Very disconcerting, felt so real, the disgust, disappointment and the guilt.
Anyway, I've no hangover, so all good

    Morning (just) and waves
    @IamMary........to be honest I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised.

The only other news is I've cricked my right shoulder and I can't get comfortable. I'll blame Mikey for nearly pulling my arms out of their sockets when I walk him.
