Re: July Army 2022
Good morning everyone
Belated happy anniversaries ladies. Have not seen Stranger Things. Just finished The Secret, based on a true story in Northern Ireland. James Nesbitt was in it, very good.
Hoping to get out in the garden today but looks like rain at the moment. Have a lovely Saturday everyone.

Roight -
I've done a day's work - watched a few episodes of Stranger Things which is getting stranger and now in bed chilling.
WTF are yous lot ???
@mollyka Stranger Things is very odd. Set in the 80's with it's music music I can why it's popular but I can't decide if it's taking itself seriously or just taking the pi*s out of other series. I like to think it's the latter & I'm down with the cool kids
@JackieClaire how was young Alfie ? you besotted?

Re: July Army 2022
Howryiz....MIA today...Jilly and Tilly arrived down unexpectedly..so we had a lovely day and finished up with a bbq on our new machine...it was very nice indeed but jaysus I'm tired now. Joe is doing one of his quiet moody sort of things which I genuinely find exhausting...he hasn't said or not said anything 'wrong'...its just an air he has...pox on him.... I'm just ignoring him...too old and tired to be dealing with it!
Is it from that that 'running up that hill' came Benjy?
I'm off...hope all is okay and Alfie is wonderful Jack's? Night all

Yep. All things 80s is having a revival apparently - so that's why the show is popular.
Must dig out me shoulder pads.
LOVED shoulderpads - kinda 'evened' you out if you had 'good child bearing hips' which a male work colleague once told me

Not mad on shoulder pads...being tall it just made me really tall..actually...wasn't that mad on most 80's music...that decade I was weighed down with babies..so much preferred earlier or later stuff...also heading to the lake Elsie..its a lovely day here so will get a swim in with the girls...laters xxxx

Good morning everyone
Lovely morning here too. Walked the dogs and going to climb a mountain later. Loved the 80’s, was in my 20’s, no kids, loads of holidays, lots of happy memories.
Nice that your daughter came to visit Molly. Enjoy the lake.

Re: July Army 2022
Morning,
Just spent a pleasant hour or so with someone from my bank. My bank account had been hacked twice..................all good now as we spoke to them and the bloke was so lovely.
Will get a new one later in the week. Tbh not only did it shock me, it made me very, very anxious.
Alfie is a wee darling......
.....best bit of being a Granny you can give then back when they've pooped their nappy.

Re: July Army 2022
Ah you must be just besotted with young Alfie @JackieClaire!
I was raging we didnt see the Book of Mormons when it was on here last year. Next time..
Happy Anniversary @satz123
We were at a party last night, outdoor with a pool (sounds v posh but wasnt really), music was blaring and people were dancing - swimming togs were being produced as we left (no amount of money would pay me to get into a pool with drunk people). Had an audience of about 10 when someone asked me what I was drinking, then person B says, no Mary doesnt drink. Got the usual, 'ever' 'have you ever drank' 'how long' blah blah blah.. Actually it doesn't bother me anymore, but its interesting to watch drunk people process this information, then bladder on justifying their own drinking, as if I am judging them (I am
)
Woke up this morning and just thought, no hangover, decent sleep, no scraps with Mr M, no emotional outbursts and absolutely no regrets of things I might have said or done.
Its a big effort getting to this point, but omg, the rewards are so worth it.
Met cousins yesterday too so today I am cleaning
