Its a sofa bed. Its a sofa at the moment. It was easier than we thought.

Emptied the back bed room so her majesty the bride and and her bridesmaids (last count was 4 bridesmaids) can get ready. Once one is ready they can come down and have a park themselves there. Luckily Mikey will be at a neighbours so there won't dog hair everywhere.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Poor Mikey - he wanted to carry the rings - he told me in his broken English the other day

Jacks follow @NiallHarbison on Twitter or Instagram. He is an Irishman who stopped drinking and went to Thailand to feed & care for all the street dogs.
    He is amazing.

    Re: Army August 2022

    good evening, Army...

Satz, thinking of you and YS and i hope as well that you'll all find a solution.. must be really scary at the moment and as the others have said, infuriating that it's so difficult to find help.. somewhat easy (not costing an arm and a leg or having a terribly long waiting time) help.... thanks for the doggie insta link.. i follow quite a few rescue sites and appreciate the people so much.. had to google Norn Iron.. you ladies always keep me on my toes!

did laugh out loud, Starty, with your description of the nusiance caller!! omg, snoring!! my ex (with whom i lived 10 years together) literally sawed logs every night.. in the end he had to set up a single mattress in the living room cause NOONE could sleep with him! poor guy.. there are things one can do for it.. it's often sleep apnea and can be helped with a breathing machine at night (dad has one) but most guys don't want to deal with such things..

Rusty, how many dogs do you have?! sounds like at least a partial sled team!!

Mary, had to look up, Playing a blinder.. as i said, you all keep me on my toes!!!

Molly, sounds exciting!! i love thunder and lightening storms and never really think about "danger" till afterwards.. you should all be ok though, right? what are the "rules" for being in a lightening storm on the water in a boat? thank god max is a deep sleeper!!

JC, glad you're tummy's feeling better.. gosh the stress sounds to be a lot!! so many expectations that go along with weddings, right? i'm sure it will all go really well!!!!

ok.. off to bed for me.. have been soaking my dress in cold water every couple of hours, wringing it out, putting it on and then sitting myself in front of the fan!! think it's almost time to open the windows!!

ah,yeah.. was in Wroclaw, Poland and it was sooo nice! was there to watch my daughter play on the German U20 ultimate frisbee team.. "world championship".. was a blast to watch, with U17 teams playing for the European championship as well.. 10 days of ultimate.. i just caught the last 3 which included the finals (the best matches to watch!) and had a day and a half to check out the town.. very nice place, very nice people!!

    see you all tomorrow..xx

Dog hair is the best bit of wedding decor! Mikey, do your thang!

That sounds like a wonderful few days LC! Impressed your daughter is playing in the championships!

Yep I am sure he's got sleep apnea but you're right, he has little interest in dealing with it. I have finally got him taking supplements which is a miracle after trying for over 30 years. Maybe there is hope in the distant future I think separate beds are OK for some. For me, I am a nighttime eater, wanderer and if I can't sleep I watch programmes so sharing my bed isnt a walk in the park either.

I have ordered myself some magnesium spray to see that helps relax me. Watch this space as it comes tomorrow!

    Have a good night all

Good woman. I use it all the time. I know when I've forgotten for a few days I get cramps in my calves & toes.
    Great stuff for sleep too.

Me, too, Starty.. i complain about my bed share-ers, but am a complete PIA myself. have to have ear plugs, curtains shut a certain way, am up at any sound and often wander out of the room when i can't sleep to read or go online.. lucky my guy now sleeps like a log and rarely snores! a keeper if for no other reason!! are lots, though of course.. sweet man, is he... feel like a lucky dog, that he takes on all my shit, to be honest...
    all a good night's sleep!!

I'm a big fan of magnesium too! Himself used the spray for cramps, I take the supplements. Sleep so much better.

Ultimate freebie!! That sounds like a blast @lifechange!! Met someone a few years back who did it... your daughter must be superfit..
Watching posts of the storm from my inlaws in cavan, its seriously impressive, looks like it's moving this way.

Was on the womens masters relay team yesterday, 400m. We came second. Its a national medal, so would be a big swing except hardly any clubs enter

Hope your finding options for YS. Please post up, he often pops into my mind. I also knew v little about detox too. And the codine detox too @starty. How does that work?

    Night all xx

    Re: Army August 2022

Yes cannot wait to get my magnesium body butter and spray today!

I am becoming more and more convinced that sleeping is a solo sport LC

Codeine detox Mary? Well, it starts about 12-24 hrs after last dose with headache and shivers, crawling skin then feelings of absolute doom, aching in various joints, diarrhoea, depression, fatigue OMG the fatigue. insomnia, restless legs. All this goes on for about 3 weeks but the depression and fatigue lasts longer, about 6 weeks for me according to my diaries. Its awful and even so, I have done it over and over. Madness huh? Having said that, I am more and more convinced my continual failures have had a lot to do with menopause and peri menopause. This time, since being on HRT I have not had ONE craving. Its incredible. I am usually white knuckling for at least 2 months, if I make it that long.

Wonderful about coming 2nd!! You must be so proud !

    Have the best day everyone
