Quitting and staying quit isn’t easy, it’s learning a whole new way of thinking. It’s accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.

A bit late to the party here but ................... how about this for a ROUNDY number
This may sound a bit 'boasty' but I don't care ......
Result: 3500 days since my last drink
or 500 weeks of freedom from
- Having to lie about everything
- hangovers
- Hiding bottles
- Having to dispose of empty bottles
- Seeing the number of empties increase
- Hating myself for all of the above
- Longing to be 'normal'
....................... Feel free to add to this list - does no harm to remember how bad it really was.Benji ....
