    Morning all.

That's fab news about Joe Molls! Must be like getting a freedom pass

Been out for a lovely walk this morning. For some reason feeling a bit out of sorts. Dunno why but hopefully it will lift throughout the day.

There are some horrific stories in the name of religion. Its terrifying how one thing can literally chain nations to a doctrine.

Must start sorting out the garden job. It will look lovely when its done but struggling to find the impetus to arrange it. Oh and Mr S left the door unlocked last night. Luckily we were not murdered in our beds

NO WAY !!! There's feck all in it.
The next town out is much more lively being a University town.

The Germans will be home for good later this year & are over again this weekend looking at houses to buy close by.
I've to go with them Fri / Sat but I'll just come back and see my own house as old-fashioned & needing updating.
YES ! I am that shallow.

@Ne/Nava Eva because there are so few of us recently - we tend to banter not realising there could be a non-Irish / non - UK audience.
I promise I'll try to be more inclusive.
But you know, stick round and you won't be long picking up the lingo then you'll be ever so International.

You think we're bad ? - there's an Irish film nominated for 9 Oscars this year - check it out.

    i.e. Banshees of Inisherin
    - but don't think we actually live like that - made purely for foreign audiences if you ask me.
The blatant use of Irish archetypes in depicting the residents of the Island annoyed me no end

    Morning,
Sorry I went missing but had a vile snot giving cold. Must have gone through two kitchen rolls. Feeling a bit more human today but now got a blocked nose and smell of Vicks VapoRub.

Ach, Molls, I watch so many American Cop shows that I could prolly solve any murder in the US in minutes.

We've been gobbled up with The Catch set on the south coast of England and its actually filmed in Balbriggan. Its beautiful very much like the beaches up here (we are near the border to Scotland) Remember going to Devon when the kids were very young and the beaches were just pebbles but luckily we live up North, our county borders Scotland and its proper sand.

Now got a man that can cutting back the trees front and back.

Edit: Molls good news for Joe and you.

Got the news I did not want to get in regards to funding, handled it in typically heroic fashion - got high. Not proud of it. Gonna be out for a couple days having a bit of a wallow, be back next week.

So sorry to hear that Battle but stick around while having your wallow. Know from experience how easy it is to skulk away and with no accountability go back to square one.

Productive day painting, ceiling finished. Hope your cold improves JC. Heard some lovely news today, my cousins daughter who is 41 and got married last year is 15 weeks pregnant. Delighted for them.

Right better go do dinner, it’s all air fryer tonight.
