Evening everyone

Belated happy St Patrick’s Day. Ran out of data and no Wi-Fi in the cottage so have not been able to post. Out for dinner tonight so using the restaurant Wi-Fi.

Lovely day. Went to antique shop outside Westport and had lunch in Louisbourgh. Beautiful part of the country. We stayed home to watch the match and out for dinner now. There will be a lot of celebrations tonight but all quiet here. Probably more into the Gaelic than rugby around here. I’m not complaining don’t like crowds.

Hi all. I took a nasty fall today trail running. Going to the Emergency Room for X-rays. A bit pissed as I am in a golf tournament tomorrow and there are three guys counting on me. If it’s not broken, I am going to play. It is my right thumb and I just tried gripping the club. It’ll be ok with 600 mg of ibuprofen. Have a beautiful rest of your day/evening!

Oh be careful Techie....I fell on my wrist a couple years back and I knew something was wrong but let it drift for a few months..eventually had it xrayed and discovered 2 fractures...I now have aches in it when cold or wet...guessing arthritis...hope it's okay x

Oh the excitement with the match...was screaming at tele....dog kept looking at me like I'd lost my marbles! Delighted for Johnny Sexton...Great day. Big Gaelic fans in our family but I have a bit of a thing about the GAA ...think they take such advantage of amateur status but....anyways...in the bed now...a good day!

Morning all...and a very happy Mother's Day to all you mammies out there...as per normal had a lovely phone call and exchange of pictures and cards with daughter before 7am....the boys?....nothin....yet....ach they'll get there in the end!!!!

Not long back from the west. Daughter working but she must have had visitors while we were away, place immaculate and flowers for me were on the counter. Got take away and feet up now watching Dancing with the stars. Good day so far.

Goodnight folks...pity your golf rained off Techie but it gives your wrist a chance to heal...lovely to come home to a lovely clean house Rusters...I used to hold my breath on returning home when they were younger..at least till I had a good look around!
Made a great big proper roast lamb dinner with lemon cheesecake by Joe for afters...what a treat!! Literally have the good sweats now tho so orf to the leaba!! Night all xx

Anyone read Strange Sally Diamond? I really enjoyed it. Liz Nugent, she's great.

Went for a lovely walk with a few buddies this morning.. Girls made a fuss over me.. (less fuss from son! I don't do fuss anyway).
We went to the lighthouse cinema and had a nice lunch after.

I'm always suspicious of a very tidy house too Rustop!!
