Though I am worried that the list will be woefully short, I thought that perhaps there was enough momentum in the medical community to start this idea again.

Dr. Fred Levin
Associate Professor, Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, US
Home # 312-642-5803
He can be reached between 7 and 9pm (gmt -6) at his home number, which is his preference.
From another thread on another forum by sunnyvalenting:
There is a doctor in Atlanta, Dr Tommy Richardson, who prescribed it to me. There is a doctor in California. There is Dr. Levin. I bet there are others. It would help if there was a listing of these docs and their locations. Take your articles and sob story in and explain it. Maybe it will work. Maybe a neurolgist might be wiling as they may have more experience with baclofen use in MS patients.
Here is a link to Dr. Jonathan Chick. He prescribes Baclofen and will write to your GP in the UK to advise on prescribing under the NHS.
Professor Jonathan Chick Psychiatry Consultant, Edinburgh, private hospital specialist.

I convinced my former primary physician, Dr. Lawrence Doyle of the Plymouth branch of Family Practice at Sutter Amador Hospital to prescribe baclofen.
As of our last conversation, his upper limit was 90mg/day. That may have changed.
How I convinced him is a funny story, as he was a former AA stalwart and initially shot me down hard: http://www.mywayout.org/community/f2...ker-44075.html :H
This is in the Sacramento Gold Country/Foothill region of Northern California, USA
Anyone looking for a doctor in Harare, Zimbabwe, PM me.
I'm not sure he would be comfortable if I threw his name out here. Oh god, I've given the game away, it's a he...
Anyone looking for a doc in Texas, PM me. I am seeing him today, and I will ask him if I can post his name.
Bump.
This thread could be very handy if people who have successfully been prescribed baclofen put their name here. That way, anyone in your neck of the woods could PM you, and get in touch with the same doctor. That's half the problem solved, right there.
So, to summarise, we have doctors in:
Chicago
Scotland
Texas
Zimbabwe
California
A woefully short list, hopefully we can grow it a little...
Anyone looking for an unhelpful cow in Kreuzberg, Berlin, PM me. She's useless, but good for a laugh.
