Mick, I thought you were going to the Canaries. Maybe I've lost track.
Tuesday with Thunderstorm, but will be 90 by the afternoon. The storms brought cooler weather this a.m., nice.
Have a great day everyone.

MAE ALL...
Lav...Hope the Hen pecking isn't too severe. Do you move the youngsters over a few at a time? Yup, got all the planting done so now it's just watering and weeding. Sorry to hear the monthly thread is petering out, hasn't it been going for awhile. Good news for us though, more peeps.
Treegirl...welcome aboard, yup I've seen you pop in from time to time. It'll be nice getting to know you.
Sam...is the electric fence specifically for the snakes? Another form of tetras. that made me laugh. We have a very short growing season (95 - 120 days) so you have to watch what you plant. We have 36 garden plots (3' X 8') and rent them out for $34 a growing season. The plot is yours and you can plant what you want with a few exceptions, no invasive plants. We also have about 30 Garden Angels/Friends of the Garden who don't have a plot but volunteer with various jobs including babysitting plots for those gardeners who take vacation. It's really become a social gathering place and well worth the initial work.
Mick...glad you got all the chores done with no mention of straining the back. Are you off early doors tomorrow? Hope the weather is the opposite of the inaugural camping trip.
SK...good to see you might be posting more regularly here. It'll give me/us a chance to get to know you.
For some reason it was a frustrating day. Didn't help that the account showed up after 4 days off and started arguing about procedures. Really, sometimes I think she just makes things up as she goes along. Actually that's been verified by the childcare director. LOL It was like she just wanted to pick a fight and I was going to defend myself which brought the General Manager out of his office. Was going to tell him what I thought of his 2 cents but thought better of it. I did decide to take off an hour early and just get a head start on me time.
Hope we all have a peaceful evening....

Good evening Abbers!
The increased humidity today meant a pre-dinner downpour, but it was quick. Everything is as green as can be including some things that aren't supposed to be green - like the deck, ha ha!!! Looks like this damp pattern is here to stay too.
Mick, wishing you happy travels & a happy back too
I sure hope you have decent weather!
Sam, my daughter played clarinet in the high school bad, my son the trumpet but I have never heard of a nose whistle. I want to see a YouTube video, LOL
My little beagle type dog has been outside all afternoon picking up a scent of something & it's driving her nuts. I have a feeling a fox made an appearance when we weren't looking. I'm keeping the chickens in their run because I can't deal with that sh*t again this year after losing three hens last year.
SK, thunder storms are supposed to clear the air & make things cooler. Doesn't seem to work that way anymore, ha ha!
Cyn, glad you dropped in last night!
You know you can always find me on FB too
Pauly & Det, thinking about you two & I hope you drop in soon.
Howdy to Pie & PQ too.
Have a nice night everyone!
Lav

Hello all -
Mick, wishing you safe travels! My heritage is Welsh, and I have traveled a bit there, but only in the south, never to Snowdonia. Pics, please!
Lav, your comment about the deck turning green made me laugh - same thing here. I am years behind giving it a good powerwash! I hope the fox isn't back, sheesh... would the beagle scare it off? As I was looking out the window yesterday, out between my sheds came a badger (or muskrat? Not sure...) it is definitely close enough for my dog to wrangle with ... but I'm not sure what to do about that...
SK, so glad that you got some weather relief. How are you feeling these days?
Hey Pauly, hope to hear from you over in this thread!
Samstone, your musical endeavors sound interesting -- PQ, love the sound of your garden.
Wishing all well today- here's your affirmation Pauly - "I draw good things into my life".

Wednesday greetings, friends! Pedaling like a demon to keep up with this wonderful work, but don't want to let another day pass without at least a hello.

Re: w/c 3 /6/18
Lav, after t/storms last night we are left with 74% humidity. Ugh, makes me tired and lazy.
A fox again. Definitely keep your babies safe.
Mick, when we lived in England, we had a holiday home in St. Asaph. I remember going to Rhyl. They had old war bunkers and my brother and I
had a lot of fun. I remember the Snowdon area. My mother wanted a b&b there, but dad won that one. Lots of waterfalls.
Cyn, my heritage is Welsh /Scandanavian. And, so was my maiden name.
Hello to everyone else.

MAE ALL...
Lav...I would just love a thunderstorm, could you send them my way please.
Mick...safe travels hope you have a great time.
Tgirl...the community garden is a big hit. Wow, be careful with your dog wouldn't want him/her to tangle with either a muskrat or badger. Hope someone can give you some suggestions.
Pi...I'm glad you prefaced work with wonderful. LOL Glad you popped in.
SK...I've been to England but only saw London and Lands End. I'll have to google St. Asaph and Rhyl.
It's our first Weeding Wednesday at the garden tonight. Wednesday evenings are designated as a meet and greet your fellow gardeners. Have had some donations for our Food Bank plot so will be planting those.
Hope we all have a restful evening....
