      Re: w/c 24th jne

      Greetings Abbers,

Well, the boys have returned this afternoon & they’re staying overnight too. I have no idea when I’ll get rid of them. Hope I have enough food, ha ha!
Over 90 degrees today & tomorrow will be even worse, yuck. Staying in the AC for sure
Tomorrow is my 45th wedding anniversary but we have no plans, of course, why would we?

Mick, the nagional guard units here are often brought in to help contain those big wildfires. What a brutal job in this heat, ugh.
I was invited to go on vacation with my daughter, SIL & granddaughter this year. It’s really very nice of them because they know YB refuses to ho anywhere which leaves me stuck here. I’ll be on my best behavior, LOL

PQ, I made meatballs for the boys when they were here yesterday. Thankfully I made a double batch so they ate them sgsin today, ha ha. Gotta love leftovers
I hope you enjoy your weekend. I will be getting my hair trimmed before I head north, just in case, ha ha.

Pauly, I don’t care for salmon either, something about the smell. I get my Omega3s using flax seed.

Hello to the rest of the crew. I need to go talk these stinky kids into the shower or something.
      Have a nice night everyone!

A parrot developed the bad habit of humping the farmer's hens, making them quit laying. The farmer tells the parrot if he does it again he will pull out every feather in the parrot's head. The next day, the farmer again catches the parrot humping a hen, and snatches the parrot bald.

The following day, the farmer's wife hosts a formal dinner. She thinks it would be unique if the parrot greeted the guests and told them where to go. She had spent nearly a year training the parrot for this.

As the guests began entering, the parrot dutifully announced, "Ladies to the right! Gentlemen to the left!" Spotting two bald guys entering, the parrot says, "And you two chicken-fckers get up here with me."

This poor guy went to hospital for a circumcision, but because of a mix up, he ended up having a complete sex change.

All the doctors and nurses had gathered around his bed as he was waking up so they could give him the bad news.

Naturally, the poor guy went to pieces and started crying when they explained what had happened to him.

"Damn!" he moaned, "this means I'll never be able to experience an erection ever again"!

"Of course you will," one of the doctors soothed. "It'll just have to be someone else's".

The world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make is taking a stroll down his local high street.

As he passes by the record shop, a sign catches his eye.

"Just Released -New LP -Wasps of the World and the sounds that they make - available now"

Unable to resist the temptation, the man goes into the shop.

"I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make. I'd very much like to listen to the new LP you have advertised in the window."

"Certainly, Sir," says the young man behind the counter. "If you'd like to step into the booth and put on the headphones, I'll put the LP on for you."

The world expert on European wasps goes into the booth and puts on the earphones.

Ten minutes later, he comes out of the booth and announces, "I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make and yet I recognised none of those."

"I'm sorry Sir", says the young assistant.

"If you'd care to step into the booth, I can let you have another 10 minutes."

The world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make steps back into the booth and replaces the headphones.

Ten minutes later, he comes out of the booth shaking his head.

"I don't understand it", he says,

"I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make, and yet I still can't recognise any of those!"

"I'm terribly sorry, Sir" says the young man, "perhaps if you'd like to step into the booth again, you could have 5 more minutes."

Sighing, the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make steps back into the booth.

Five minutes later, he comes out again, clearly agitated.

"I am the world expert on European wasps and the sounds that they make and yet I have recognised none of the wasps on this LP."

"I really am terribly sorry", says the young assistant, I've just realised I was playing you the bee side."

      MAE ALL...

Sam...My heart would always sink when the cows got out. They can be a lot of work rounding them up even without the unexpected swim. Enjoy your tunes today.

Mick...39 YIKES! We're currently at 14 and looking at a cloudy 21 possible thunderstorms this afternoon. Suits me just fine as I have no plans to go anywhere, way too much traffic out there. What's happening on Tuesday? Is it Tenerife time already! digger is on bail..he seems to be abiding by his conditions so far!we shall see

Lav...of course now all I see is the weather forecast for Ontario. Currently under a heatwave warning at Mick's 39 with a humidex rating of 45! Hopefully the heatwave will have moved on before you get there.

Pauly...you working today? Saw it was 44 in Vegas yesterday, what's it like today?

Pi...you must be busy haven't heard from you in a bit. Hope all is good.

Det...hoping you can check in soon.

Boys heading out to work soon so I get my house to myself again Not sure what I'm going to do today, will take it as it comes. Have a good one all....PPQP

      Good evening Abbers,

      Heat wave still on, ugh.
The boys were picked up at noon by their mother who seems much happier these days - hope it lasts.
We took advantage of the free afternoon & ran up to the outlets for a little shopping & an early dinner - avocado turkey burger - yum

Mick, loved the parrot story, ha ha!
We had a green parrot named Sherman for a while many years ago. But, I was working night shift then & trying to sleep during the day was impossible while that bird was screaming his head off all day. So, he had to go, LOL

Sam, your day sounds like one of my 'everything goes wrong days", ha ha!!! I know it's not funny, we all have them time to time

PQ, I just checked the weather prediction for Niagara Falls July8-11 - looks like 82-89 degrees. Warm but better than here!
I hope you enjoyed some quality alone time today

Hello to Pauly, Pie, Det, etc.

      Have a nice night everyone!
