Now there's a mirror-finish to be proud of on those worktops, Mick! A labor of love, it appears. Moving the real estate deal forward is still at the top of my list this morning. About to shower, and go show up in person. Not looking forward to this, but will bring my best manners, along with persistence. Wish me luck, would you?

      MAE ALL...

Mick...glad the train guy showed up finally. Will the new CP train be ok to wire up? The whole layout is going to look great with all the lights. Nice job on the worktop so far. Heard on the radio that Amazon was delivering some packages within 9 minutes of placing the order. When should yours show up? LOL I haven't seen the Rocky Mountain Railroad but bet you get lots of ideas from it.

Sam...sounds like you're enjoying yourself. Yes, the power of song can be amazing. I hope your snow is brief cause you're probably not ready to get into the whole winter yet.

Pauly...sorry to hear Romeo is sick. Just remember, teething time will be over eventually. Didn't know what I was going to do for dinner until my son called and said he ordered pizza and wings. Dinner was wonderful. LOL Hope you had a great BF day.

Pi...some things just need to be deal with in person if you want anything done. Hope you were able to sort out the real estate deal.

TG...I bet you're tired. I'm tired just reading about everything you do in your posts. It's always a good night when I don't have to dirty any dishes. LOL And you're off again soon. You be safe on your travels.

Lav...I never did start with Microsoft Edge. After the security breach with Internet Explorer I never went back. No wonder they changed the name. I have heard good things about it though. How's the mouth feeling? Sometimes an extraction is the least painful work you can have done. Looking forward to seeing pics of the lace ornaments.

Shout out to Det & SK. Wishing everyone a restful sleep....PPQP

      Re: w/c 2nd 12th

      Ooooh Roooh ABeroooos!

Mick, thanks much as always Idol chatter? ha!

Pie, knowing my luck I'd get stuck on jury duty for some gut wrenchingly boring custody case.

Lav, quiet house now? I have to be good to my teeth as I really don't need to lose anymore myself.

Sam, so glad you are keeping up on playing music. It's benefits for neuroplasticity are tremendous. In fact i just splurged today
and bought a used syth/keyboard on ebay. woooot! this trailer is going to get groovy baby. Polyphonic synth with vocoder/mic and sequencer.

Pauly, I was at the barber yesterday arvo and was so distracted thinking about todays interview that I didn't notice she gave me a goatee again. ack!
it's pretty funny I didn't notice what she was doing to my own face. good grief LOL. she loves me in a goatee for some reason but I'm going Mr Clean for
simplicity. She's pretty flirty with me which is fun.

and yes, the interview. it went really well and I was there for an hour instead of the projected half hour. Will get the word next week so I'm back to being on the
      edge of my chair here.....

wrapping prezzies for the kids still. I mis-labeled one of them....glad I caught that! snuck it back out when nobody was home like a grinch or something lol

SK and Tree, good to see you two, sorry can't backspace without losing my spot here.

oh Lav, have you tried using pecorino romano in liu of permesan? it's insanely good. I found one from Sardinia on Amazon and it's my fav cheese on
the planet. just had some on soup tonight.

well, off to learn something new, whatever that might be.

      be well loves!

      Re: w/c 2nd 12th

      Greetings Abbers,

      Last but not least, right?
Had a good day. No problems related to the tooth extraction, even went out for lunch with my old work friends.
Turning colder here again & I think they have decided we're not getting snow this weekend. The storm looks like it's going to stay south of us - where Sam lives.

Mick, your counters look amazing, nice job
I would hate to mess them up after all that work, ha ha!
I have absolutely no idea why Trump is still in office but I am hoping we send the last of him very soon. The Mueller investigation seems to be getting red hot. I can't wait!!!

Sam, nice to see you & glad you are enjoying life. Sorry about the snow prediction but I know we will get our fair share here at some point.

Pauly, my first born had 10 days of disgusting diarrhea with each new tooth. I really felt sorry for her & her sore bottom. Never had that problem with my son, he just drooled gallons. Each kid has their own response to teething, ugh.
Btw - sweet potatoes are healthier than white potatoes. They don't raise your blood sugar like white potatoes.

Pie, hope you got your title straightened out today!

Cyn, enjoy your trip, sounds nice!

Det, I honestly don't know why my teeth are giving me such fits. I get them cleaned twice/year, brush them a couple times every day with the electronic brush they recommended, don't eat much sugar, etc. It has to be age related or something of that nature.
I grew up just outside Philly & the cheese du jour is called Locatelli which is pecorino romano. My kids always called it 'stinkin cheese' but it does have a strong odor but it's the best. Glad you found it
No kid watching for me today & that was OK with me.
I hope you hear something soon from your interview!

PQ, I promise I will try to remember to take some pics tomorrow, LOL
My STM kinda sucks these days, ha ha!!

Hello to SK, hope you are well.

      Have a nice night everyone.

Oh no, Mick! A goatee, a pigee, and a sheeppee?? Det, you're not gonna go there, are you?

I may be an outlier on the jury duty question, but I'm with y'all 100% on need to protect teeth. Lav, it's been just over a year since I increased to cleanings every 3 months. I haven't lost any teeth during that time, so going to stay with it.

The folks I met with yesterday really are trying to solve the title problem. Think we'll know within a few days if it's even possible.

      Re: w/c 2nd 12th

      Hey diddly doodley ABeroooonies!

getting a tad chilly here in Vegas which is A OK by me. Makes sleep so much nicer. getting up to pee not so much.

Lav, the sad thing about carbs in general and grain in particular is they begin to metabolize into sugar in seconds as they interact with
the amylase enzymes in our saliva. I'd brush teeth after oatmeal etc and see how that goes?

PPQ, 2 weeks off is golden! big plans? ski trip?

Mick, that's not good news at all. I don't recall the pathology he's suffering from.

My main reason for going keto isn't the weight loss, triglyceride improvements, fighting cancer/Alzheimer's etc etc (although they are fab by-products)
for me I want the cognitive benefits. Here's a quick/easy overview of that in particular for those with 5 minutes to spare:
"Keto Brain Hack" Ketogenic Diet Effects on the Brain (Dr. Perlmutter/D'Agostino) - YouTube
and a 6min clip that includes the glutamate/GABA modulating effect for combating anxiety: What the Keto Diet Does to Your Brain - YouTube

well, scanning and printing more financial records for my upcoming bankruptcy meeting. oh joy.

Can't wait to get a work sched figured out so I can establish a good schedule for hitting the gym and sauna. It's hard to justify a combined hour of driving/gas for doing it on it's own.

Pie, no barnyard animals planned for my face! it would be lovely to have a farm one day though. Getting in the practice with microgreens at least.

Lav, Locatelli is a decent brand of pecorino I've used quite a lot. In other breaking cheese news I picked up a chunk of contija from the Mexican grocer this morn.
It's analogous to Greek feta i suppose but way cheaper.

Ok, off to see if UPS has dropped off any more goodies for me to wrap.

      be well loves!
