Good evening folks!

The weather gods blessed us with sunshine & a lovely 71 degrees today ~ nice!
Looking at the weather for the rest of the week it looks really crazy, back & forth between hot & cold. The poor folks in the Texas/Oklahoma areas are being slammed with major storms & tornadoes.

Det, glad you are enjoying life these days See, all we had to do was wrestle ourselves out of the grips of AL. Grateful that we have all done that. I think I’ve talked a few people into Instant Pots now & so far so good. Everyone seems to love it too. I have extra furniture around this house that I would gladly hand over to you but you would have to pick it up, haha!

Cyn, it’s a shame you can’t do a yard sale, they are usually a good way to move things along. Whenever we’ve had one we just put the leftover stuff out for trash pick up. I don’t like to sweat all that stuff if you know what I mean. I have my mother’s china here that I don’t use anymore & my kids don’t want it so some day it’s likely to hit the dump, what can you do? Good luck & take lots of deep breaths!!

I have spent my entire working life being in charge, telling people what to do, etc. I am not shy when it’s time to tell someone to sit down & shut up, LOL. YB should certainly know that by now, oh well.

MAE ALL...Been trying to get on since I got home from work.

Lav...you would have thought it was October here, cold overcast and at time pouring! They say we're going to hit 70 tomorrow, well I'll believe it when I see it. Can't seem to get the swelling to go down. Did spend a lot of time on my feet yesterday doing some running around so that probably didn't help. Will keep it elevated and see what it's like tomorrow, may have to get it looked at again.

Mick...my tinternet problems started with me hearing the boys saying we need faster speeds. Then a new modem arrived and when I got home tonight I heard the support guy said it was a software update that crashed the modem. Back to old modem then couldn't get on here. Neither of them are working why can't they sort this sh*t out during the day. LOL It was a good day and if weather does what it's expected I could get out to the garden soon.

TG...hope you didn't mind me moving you, I'm kinda anal that way. LOL I can just picture your spreadsheet! Hope you get some compensation for the stuff you have to let go of in a hurry.

Det...just think how impressed she's going to be the next time she's over and has her own chair! LOL You can always hide it and say well it's back to the bed. How did the boot shopping go?

mornin all ...how are we today then..good I hope ..its raining here and Im watching a young deer playing in the field its about 30ft away from me.yesterday was
a pain in the butt with the internet and computer ..we nearly needed windows ...literally ..Messing about with the model railway yesterday ,its hot up there so the oil on the engines dries out quick..but it was niceto mess again.Out for a trek tomorrow I think ,

MAE ALL...thought I'd pop in this morning as I have a Garden Meeting tonight.

Mick...not raining here at the moment, fingers crossed it stays that way. I'll let you know if we reach the high temps as predicted. So far I have internet so it's a good day. You might have to put off major railway work until the fall/winter now. Woke up this morning and my foot/leg is half the size it was when I went to bed. Must be doing something right.

Pauly...every time I see an IP I think of Lav too. LOL October in Vegas definitely different than here. We don't get those high temps during the summer.

Just getting home around 10 pm after a visit with our girls Nice to do that mid-week sometimes
Sunny & low 70's again, lovely except the pollen is deadly, ugh.

PQ, so happy to hear the leg is improving, yay!
Geez, I don't want to jinx myself but our internet has been pretty good lately, hmmm.
I think I have earned the Instant Pot crown, haha but I do really like the thing

Pauly, I stepped out on the deck this morning to clean doggie prints off the glass door. I suddenly realized how pollen covered the glass was & finished that job up real fast, LOL

Mick, Thursday is supposed to be our rain day, storms in the afternoon & evening. I hope they don't wreck my new plants out there.
Don't melt yourself working in the attic, that could be messy.

Don’t know if I’ve ever walked that far ~ on purpose. I used to feel like I walked that far after a 12-16 hr shift at the hospital, LOL It was probably close!
Despite all the severe weather warnings we’ve had nothing more than a few quick showers today. I’m OK with that!
I think we are going back to my daughter’s house on Sunday so YB can finish up the electrical work on their renovated room. We are going to burn some burgers too, haha!! No other weekend plans for us.

MAE ALL...Summer has hit Calgary, 20C

Mick...glad you survived your hike today, if you're aching now just wait till tomorrow. LOL How did the trekking sox's hold up?

Lav...can you imagine if they had those step trackers back in the day you were nursing. You'd probably burn it out Glad your severe weather didn't amount to much, a few showers is ok. My seeds and signage arrived from the Calgary Food Bank so will get the kids from the Out of School Care Program to plant them tomorrow even if it rains. We're participating in the "Grow A Row" program for fresh veggies for the food bank. Great way for us to give back.

Foot/leg was feeling pretty good this morning so I didn't wrap it. WRONG! A little swollen tonight so will get it elevated and wrap it tomorrow. Have a great night all...PPQP
