    Re: Dec1

    Good evening friends,

I got to spend a few hours with old friends this afternoon, had lunch, nice.
No snow here just cold & windy.

PQ, I am sorry to hear you are having a hard time right now & your son as well.
Hopefully he will get quick relief from his meds. It’s good that you can go talk to someone about your concerns. Share it all, get it off your chest & find a way to handle work situations in the future. We’ve probably all been guilty of mouthing off at work, especially when you know the boss hasn’t been listening. Take care of yourself & stay positive

Pauly, hello to you, hope your day was good.

Mick, that ad was adorable & quite a production!
Glad to hear your healing is progressing,. Good time to pay attention to instructions & don’t overdue, right?

    Hello to Cyn & Det!

    Have a nice night everyone!

    Re: Dec1

MAE ALL...thanks for the support, I'm feeling better today. I've been talking to some friends and like Pauly said I'm not the only one who's mouthed off inappropriately. Never did have my meeting with the boss, he was too busy! Apparently we're getting together on Friday, I'll believe it when I see it.

Mick...of course the boiler people are coming tomorrow. If it doesn't rain it pours. Ooops shouldn't have said that. Thanks for the PM it came exactly when I needed it today. I would always drink when I was mad, I'll show you, I'll get drunk. So grateful that's not my go to thought anymore. Glad your shoulder is healing quickly, need you tip top for your trip. Have fun at your course tomorrow and don't speed to get there.

Lav...nice to take some time and be with friends, good for you. Yes, talking really does help. That's the goal, learning how to deal with work situations in a more productive way.

Pauly...it's hot chicken sandwiches for supper tonight. I actually feel like eating finally.

I stopped on the way home tonight and picked up some OTC sleep aides. I really need to get some sleep. The neighbours were at it again from 10pm till 3am! My son says we're living in between the Hatfields and McCoys. Have a restful evening all.....PPQP

    Mae all -

Mick, thanks for the ad - your country is SO much more inventive in the holiday ads!! Loved it. "Even the rabbits have fur coats" LOL! Hope that the driving course was bearable today... and that you are still being a good healer with the arm, good luck with that.

PPQ, so sorry to hear of your trials - yes, we have definitely ALL done that at some time or other! Well done on rising above the frustration. I just read an article on how lack of sleep actually makes us more angry. Yesterday morning I had to get out of the apartment because I was seriously cranky. I was lucky to have a refuge in the lobby... it really settled me down. It must be hard while you are also helping your son - good luck with that, hugs.

Lav, so glad that you had some time with friends - well deserved! Thanks for your thoughts re: mites. I just took the second dose of ivermectin today - though I now see that I didn't take the correct dose 10 days ago, sheesh (only half of what I was supposed to take - I'll talk to the docs and see what they say.) I think I made some serious progress by accident yesterday - in a bucket outside of the door where I go out to walk the dog, there was snow melt, and when I went to dump it, what did I see but about a hundred little teeny tiny black specks swimming around. (Honestly it was nauseating.) Long story short, I was able to (correctly) capture a bunch of them in a vial of rubbing alcohol, and dropped the vial off at the county extension service today! Maybe we will get to the bottom of this somehow; it will take them about 10 days to process it... crossing fingers...

Pauly, you are such a sweet compassionate one. I was afraid when Lav quoted those statistics! I hope someday you have a job that you look forward to going to...

Det, hope all is going well - I admire you for learning all that new stuff!!

Hello to anyone else stopping by.

Beautiful snowiness here overnight - very pretty against the big rock wall...

Wishing all a good hump day tomorrow - Wednesday already!?

Mae everybody,PQ you sound alot better,I'm sorry your son inherited that damn bipolar it looks like such a scary thing to have BUT I've seen people who control it very well and at least your son is willing to get help so that's a huge plus, spaghetti in the Crock-Pot today, probably make some zoodles cuz I actually like those better than the real spaghetti, plus my sauce is the star of this dinner haha Mick, love the bunnies have their fur coats cute little guys,I'm debating on getting another guinea pig or not, think I'll wait I know this one is lonely since Guinea died but it is alot of work to have two so I'm debating,Cyn,yay I'm glad you found those bugs(even tho gross) now they'll for sure be able to know what exactly is biting you,I hate those bad moods I just warn everyone ahead when I feel it,Lav I hope you and your family can get together for a bit on Christmas,I felt really bad about Thanksgiving for you and just been thinking about you, those kids need to make peace-lifes too short! Slept like shit so I'll get thru work in a fog, just how I like it haha, much love to all and wishes for a great BF Wednesday!
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

    Re: Dec1

    Good Humpday evening Abbers!

Chilly & a light rain here all afternoon, not nice but oh well.
I have my grandsons underfoot tonight, such darlings, haha!!!!

PQ, glad you’re feeling brighter today.
Sometimes I feel like life just dumps too much on you at once. It’s hard to find your balance & get your head up in fresh air. I’m not much of a praying person especially if I know there’s something I can proactively do to help myself. But other people will turn to prayer or some spiritual thing for help. Whatever it takes, right??

Pauly, I’m not holding my breath as far as my kids resolving their differences. I don’t actually see any movement at all. I’m tired of walking on eggshells if you know what i mean.
So you need a friend for your guinea pig, hmm. How’s the puppy doing?

Cyn, that’s so cool you were able to trap the little buggers. I hope you get an answer soon.
I think dealing with mood shifts this time of year is pretty common. I know the darkness gets on my nerves. I tend. To light the room I’m in to the max then deal with the electric bill later, Lol
We never did get any snow from that storm system, not a single flake.

Hello to Det, hope you are well. Hello Mick, hope you are well too

    Have a nice night everyone.

    MAE ALL...

TG....thanks for the hug, I needed it today. Up yesterday but a bit down today. It's nice that you have a refuge I could just picture you sitting in the lobby. My refuge used to be my job. I hope the discovery of those little bugs is the answer to the biting. Of course then you have to figure out how to get rid of them.

Pauly...I haven't had zoodles in ages and of course the sauce is the star. LOL I think you should put off getting another guinea pig at least till after Xmas.

Lav...it was warm and sunny this morning and then turned to north winds and a rain/snow mix this afternoon. Just enough to cover everything in ice. I'm encouraged with the behavioral physiologist. I'm looking forward to starting cognitive behavioral therapy. I think it will help me with all different aspects of my life.

Mick...how did the motorway awareness course go? Is it just one day or will you have to go back?

Shout out to the rest of the gang. Have a good night all.....PPQP

    Re: Dec1

hiya all ...a bizzyday yesterday!!!!New boiler fitted and radiators too ...its a more powerful combi..so bangs out the heat and pressure much quicker. On top of that I had to go and do the motorway awareness driving course ..there were 25 of us on the course ...all budding speed crims.it was funny listening to some of them ..all the mitigation..I was only ,the speed limit suddenly changed etc ...for me? I was speeding I got caught end of .It was actually really interesting ,and there are a lot of things about a "smart"motorway that joe public doesnt know about that could raise driver awareness I find it strange that you have to commit an offence to learn about it all...then lo and behold on the way home .....yep a smash ...so half 7 I got in last night .

hiya ppqp ...how are you feeling today then?hope you are better ..why dont you think about a hobby ..and no I dont mean trains ..to immerse yourself in ?when do you start cbt .I hope it helps you . You have had a fair bit to deal with .

hiyaLav ..hows you ? hope all ok ...we have rain forecast ....and snow on Monday and Tuesday..I take it you didnt mean literally underfoot !!!

hi teegee glad you found them darn critturs..is that how you say it?yep arm is on the mend ..just need to not indulge in my being too clever .

right folks ...just recoverd it ..this went west!!!

took this pic first thing this morning.

    Mae all -

Mick, glad the course went well! Are there always that many crashes in the UK? Sounds a little scary... wow what a pic, thx!

Lav, did you survive the boys? Glad that you didnít have any snow - the semi- melting here has changed everything into an icy mess - the dog is not happy; hard on the feet...

Pauly, how is your new dog doing? I never had Guineas as pets, but they look
cute! So sorry about your sleep the other night - have you found anything to help?

PPQ, Lav had a good point - you have been through so much. And continue to... sounds like this therapy could be a haven - so glad that you found a good person. Good luck!

Hello to Det and all else! Wishing all a good Thursday...
