Mae everybody, PQ, your coke story made me laugh haha, my toilet overflowedd in the morning yesterday and it was a good reason to hafta mop the floor, my personal bathroom tends to get ignored just cuz I'm the only one who uses it, Mick your list is about as confusing as ours on what we're supposed to do, Lav, I am surprised that your numbers were that high, very scary, Pie, I'm glad your dad and his wife seem to be pretty happy, I know it was weird for you at first I think, Sam, good to see you, much love to all and wishes for a great BF Tuesday for us all
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

hiya all how are we today then?goodhopefully ...a real frost here this morning...even more stupidity in the covid rules ..some crazy stuff here!Im going to do my own thing ..which isnt a million miles from what Ive been doing already...there are too many d.cks around to even think about trusting people ..they still havent worked out to do about holidays etc yet ...spain has said it will impose 14 days lockdown on people coming on holiday ...then you go back to uk for another 14 day lockdown ..so a 2 week holiday will cost you 4 weeks isolation!
Im grouting tiles in the bathroom ..a job I hate with a passion !! but got to be done ..

hiya Sam ..Ithink it isnt just where you are ..there is a nucleus of the covid wont get me folk everywhere!...unfortunately they are the assholes it doesnt ..they simply pass it on ..stay safe

hiya ppqp..how are you then?ok ..wow some boss ..what a guy ...tosser ..just put that in the memory bank for the future when he needs help so now you are it manager ,boss coke mopper upper ...you take care of yourself ..

hiya pie..not read the covid guide yet ...I think the prince kisses the frog and it turns into a princess ...Im sure thats the end of the story ...hope all is well with you .

hiya pauly ..you good?hope so ..take care of you and yours ..thats the most important thing

hiya Lav ..how are you then today?good I hope .like you Im doing my own thing re the covid ..Yes we had a heavy frost ..glad the majority of my plants are undercover ....not spies ..just undercover! English muffins ? we have a flour shortage here ..its not so much a shortage of flour but a shortage of flour to customer due to a shortage of packaging.Glad Tee Gees hubs sounds a bit better ..

    you take care

right folks Im iff to finish grouting !
af since the fourth of July 2012...howzat then America..now proudly marching into year 5..done that one..now bimbling into year 6..tick ..done that one too..as he casually strolls into numero 7

    Re: May 10th

    MAE ALL...

Mick...did you check with the boss about the colour of the grout? Would hate for you to have to do it twice. LOL It's another cold, miserable morning here, makes it easy to stay indoors. The more the city opens up the more I'm sticking to home. Like you I don't trust those yahoo's.

Pauly...what I would give for a personal bathroom! The re-opening is confusing here too but the bottom line for all businesses is "If you don't feel ready to re-open, don't". And quite frankly even if you do open it doesn't mean "they will come".

Sam...actually we can get snow every month of the year. LOL We generally start getting snow in late October (lately it's been September) and March is usually our heaviest snowfall month. Mind you we've had some wicked snow storms in May. Our zone is deemed frost free as of June 1st. So gardening can get really tricky around here. LOL

Pi...I too remember when your Dad wanted to marry his caregiver and the reservations you had. I'm so glad it all worked out in the end. It must be a relief for you that he's being well taken care of. I was wondering about your 4 legged family as well, and of course with no traveling no sitting required. Good luck getting your foster dog into see a specialist. It looks like the weather is going to smarten up for my potato planting this weekend.

Lav...haven't you heard? Mother Nature is ensuring the dingbats stay indoors. Made a hashbrown casserole for breakfast for breakfast and it smells really good. Can hardly wait for the "ding". Thanks for keeping us informed of TG.

Det...getting a little worried that we haven't heard from you for awhile. You didn't sneak off to Italy did you?

OK...there's the "ding". Have a good day all....PPQP

    Re: May 10th

    Greetings Abbers,

Ha ha PQ, I love to hear the‘ding too
We have a freezer out in the garage, every now & then I take stock of what we have. Well, we have enough ground turkey to feed the planet for the next few weeks. Of course YB came home from a fire company meeting, stopping at Costco on the way & came home with more ground turkey, Lol. I think I¬’ll make up a big batch of meatballs or butrgers or something, geez! I¬’m staying as close to home as I can until it feels safer to step out a bit.

Mick, hope the grouting went well. When we built this place we skipped the tiled showers & used the plastic showers (or whatever they are). Easier to keep clean, no grouting to deal with anymore, gratefiul.
Cold still but the wind seems to be dying down so that helps. Friday will be >80 degrees so the AC will probably turn itself on again, crazy! The supermarkets have little to no flour but I usually have a pretty good stock around here. Helps that i can get some in the Amish stores when needed.

Pauly, there¬’s a lot of Covid in PA but nearby NJ has it really bad!!! No one is going to be able to vacation at the beaches this year
Don¬’t you have a plumber living in your house to take care of things?? Ha ha!

Pie, I¬’m sure your ¬‘guests¬’ will be back at some point. Everything everywhere is just odd & different unfortunatley. Hope you can get some medical help for your foster.
My daughter told me today that their school superintendent is considering ending the school year early. The kids have be doing online school. He seems to think in Septemeber they may have the kids in school two days/week & do online classes the other three days. That way they can have smaller classes & try to maintain social distancing. What a hard way for 3 & 4th graders to learn - not to mention thier parents!

Sam, fire tonight & AC on Friday, LOL. Ridiculous!!!!

Det, hello & hope you are OK!

Think I’ll go walk for a bit, better than sitting.
    Have a nice night all!

    Re: May 10th

Mae everybody, PQ, that's it when you said just cuz it's open doesn't mean people will come, I see alot of people still just staying home, plus everyone is unemployed so why get a haircut? Lav, wasn't the plumbers fault it was my too much tp, I blow my nose, wipe up excess makeup and just tossed too much in there haha, had a shopping job at a Mexican grocery store and I was lost! Took a number for the meat counter then realized I don't know what 97 sounds like in Spanish so I just got them packed meat, I feel bad but hey at least they got something, also don't know what the veggies names are in espanol luckily they have it in English in tiny writing I really should try to learn Spanish but I've tried several times and it's over my head, even Kells baby daddy speaks it but he's terrible with the pronunciation and if he's speaking it to others they laugh at him, that would be me too probably, the owner wants to open earlier,I'm pissed cuz we were promised a deep clean and a paint job,now he wants us to clean it,I'm not! Cheapo, anyhoo much love to all and wishes for a great BF whateverdayitis! Mick, don't be irritated about your nurse thread, some people don't venture out of the one thread they post on,we love you

    Re: May 10th

oy ABerooooos! holy snot have I been busy. still alive and kicking. just working like a doggy.

PPQ, Italy is still sounding great and they are reopening (yay!) but I'm still in the 'big crazy' for now.

Pauly, toilet attack? ack! I've been enduring so much craziness here myself I can't address is all in a timely fashion.

however, we trio are still alive and well, and relations with girly are still going so very well and I'm full of grattitude.
I just haven't had any 'me' time to speak of. working til at least 8:30 tonight so another long one, just back for a quick reality
check on the laptop before back out to more shoots.

My boss is out of the hospital tonight if all goes well and that will be so great as I've been pulling my grey hair out trying to manage all
the client relations and scheduling singlehanded. agh! my brain!

I did manage a meditation last night for the first time in way too long and that really helps of course.

Lav, so...any new ground turkey recipes to share?

Mick, I used to 'sort of' enjoy laying tile but then again I never had to do a great deal of it.

Tree, hanging in there? Sam too?

sorry to be a stranger, just imbalanced work load lately which I really need to get paired-down asap and i'm sure I will.
thankfully Darlene is just amazing and my lovely rock.

Happy belated Mothers day to all you awesome moms!!!!!

mine is good and well so happy to report.

ok, packing back up to hit the road again....

    be well loves

    Re: May 10th

    Good evening Abbers,

No Mick check in today? Hope everything is OK friend

Nicer days shaping up around here, sunny & a bit warmer. Had a dental appt. finally to go get a bridge made to take th eplace of the teeth extrracted back in February. Now i have to wait another 3 weeks for it to be made, go back & get it glued in. Gives me something to do I guess, haha!!!

Pauly. glad the plumbing issue wasn’t serious. We all have septic systems around here so you really have to be careful what you toss into the toilets.
We have a few Mexican stores around here, fun to stop in from time to time. My 3 years of HS German class doesn’t help much but I can usually figure out hwat’s what, Lol
Your shop owner has got some big b*lls expecting the employees to do all that cleaning. I wouldn’t do it either girl!!!!

Det, good to see you & I figured you were busy working - good for you! Glad to hear about the peace at home, nice.
I made a big batch of turkey sausage patties today - since you asked, haha! They’re good on a toasted muffin for breakfast when you want a little more protein. Something different anyway.

PQ, hope your day was good!

Sam & Cyn, hello to you both as always

    Have a nice night all!

    MAE ALL...

Pauly...I have a hard enough time finding the stuff I want in the grocery store let alone someone else's and in Spanish to boot. I take my hat off to you.

Det...glad you popped in to let us know you're ok. I figured you were busy working especially when you told us the boss had to go into the hospital. Sounds like things are pretty calm at home, hope it lasts.

Lav...well I'm glad someone is happy that the dentist can open. LOL Still cold here but is supposed to change tomorrow and be nice for the weekend. I'll be glad when the garden gets planted and not have to babysit everyone anymore. It was a busy day for me starting with a call from the childcare director in a panic over files she's lost and reassured her they weren't lost, only hiding. LOL She is really fed up with the boss and his indecisions. Hope she passes that onto the board. Then a video conference call with the boss regarding our new membership software and all he talked about was programs. I've decided to follow the example on Facebook and change my name to "reconnecting" and just ignore the meeting.

Shout out to Mick, Sam, Pi and TG hope you're all well.

Making homemade hamburger helper for dinner tonight so need to get it started. Have a good night all....PPQP

Mae everybody, PQ, homeade hamburger helper has me curious? Det glad you're keeping busy, I'm not excited to go back to the shop but I desperately miss routine glad you and the little family are getting along, makes me happy Mick, hope to see you today, Lav, I guess one of the lady's had her friend paint the shop yesterday but now the"manager" says she's not paying her cuz she didn't ask first! Yea baby games that's why I'm not eager to go back, it's always like this and I've had customers calling like crazy, I don't think they understand that it's not gonna be SRO in the shop, they need an appointment and have to wait outside according to the governor, one of the girls thinks she can have a few chairs up front I say no, people hafta follow the rules or we'll be shut down, anyhoo much love to all and wishes for a great BF Thursday?

    MAE ALL....

Pauly...it sure is annoying that people continue to have the mentality of "Well those are the rules but this is what I'm going to do." I'll be keeping a close eye on the gardeners this weekend and if anyone feels they're about the rules they will be asked to leave right then and there. Not putting up with any BS. The Homemade Hamburger Helper turned out really good, here's the link to the recipe I used Homemade Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Pasta Skillet - House of Nash Eats It turned out really good and I'll be making it again.

Shout out to the rest of the gang, going to put the kettle on and I'll be back later to see how everyone else is doing....PPQP
