    Re: October the 18th ...

    Good evening Abbers,

Fairly decent here today, warmer than it’s supposed to be in October so I’m sure that’s why the allergens are getting to us, ugh.
YB spent the day driving some Amish folks to & from a wedding in Lancaster County. It’s too far for a buggy trip in any weather.
I’m making progress getting crafty stuff done for the 31st.

Pauly, you haven’t tried the east coast yet - come out to the right coast & check us out
A couple hours & you can be at the beach or up in the mountains, easy. We have new allergens for you to try out, haha!

Mick, I saw a live report about the lockdown in Manchester. The arguing over money, not people is what’s going on here too
I’ve been thinking all along this is an ‘every man for himself’ situation. Our governments are pretty pathetic & incapable it seems.

PQ, hope all is well with you!

Hello to Det, Sam, Pie & Cyn.

Have to go put the chicks to bed. Have a nice night all!

    Re: October the 18th ...

    MAE ALL....

Sorry for missing in action lately, things have just been crazy busy for me and I have absolutely 0 energy. Haven't heard back from the Doc since my latest blood work but I'm sure my B12 hasn't improved. Everything seems to take so long to accomplish now with all the covid protocols to go through. Plumber ran into an issue with the bathtub on Saturday so had to come back on Monday to finish. Normally that would have been ok but the boys weren't around (Cody had received a bill from the County for $25,000 so you can imagine what he's been like to live with. He has decided to give back his land and default on the loan so he and Colt went out to move some things to Saskatchewan and I had no idea when they'd be back) so I told the plumber he had to be here before 11am or after 1pm. . Had my annual arthritis appointment and I wasn't missing that! She was happy with the blood work but is concerned about some crackling in my left chest so ordered xrays which I managed to get today. Took my car in this morning to get the new tires and they told me it would be at least 72 hours before I'd get it back. Well, that wasn't going to work so had to go back and get it and book a different appointment. And all the new appliances are supposed to arrive tomorrow so I hope the boys are up to it because I'm running away to work.

Ok, that's what's been going on in a nutshell, apologies for making this post all about me. Will try and catch up with everyone soon.....PPQP

    Re: October the 18th ...

    Greetings Abbers,

Wow PQ, figured you were busy but that’s a lot going on for you!!
Have you been taking a B12 supplement? I take one daily, a 5000 iu lozenge, melts under the tongue so it stays away from the stomach acid.
Have you been coughing or feeling short of breath? Crackles usually indicate an area of congestion in the lung. Doc Lav needs answers, LOL Glad you got to see your doc despite everything.
I hope the plumbers got the work done for you. Also hope yuo get your tires soon, geez.

I met friends for lunch, it was nice to get out!
I’m heading to my workshop as soon as I get the chicks put to b ed, it’s dark already.

Hello to Mick, Pauly, Ddet, Anjicia, Pie & Cyn.
    Have a good night all.

    Re: October the 18th ...

    MAE ALL...

Lav...I did pick up a B12 sup it says 2500 mcg to go with my D3 and Multi Vit but didn't really seem to make much difference. Interesting about the one you put under your tongue. Yes, I've been coughing a lot and feeling short of breath. At one point I thought this feels like when my lung collapsed. My doctor said it's only on the left side where I had all my issues and the right side is clear. She should have gotten the results today so will see what happens.

Plumbing all finished, the boys were complaining about the temp of the hot water and wanted to phone the plumber back. I asked if he had turned it down while he was working and that's when they discovered he'd turned the breaker off to the tank, we have an electric water tank, and when they flipped the breaker on we had plenty of hot. So the existing water stayed pretty warm for 3 days with no power. LOL

All the appliances arrived today during our first major snow storm LOL. I think I've been feeling a little anxious over everything because now that it's done I'm a lot calmer. Mind you everything is now in my living room but that's ok. Think I'll take Friday off to sort and dispose of all the junk. Younger son is on a "clean kick" YAY.

Ok, that officially ends my "all about PQ" posts. Will return to regular posting now.

Shout out to Mick, Det, Pauly, Pi, Sam, AJ and TG. Hope we all have a restful night....PPQP

In a train compartment, there are three men and a ravishing young girl. The four passengers join in conversation, which very soon turns to the erotic. Then, the young girl proposes, "If each of you will give me $1.00, I will show you my legs." The men, charmed by this young girl, all pull a buck out of their wallet.

And then the girl pulls us her dress a bit to show her legs. Then she says, "If each of you gentlemen will give me $10.00, I'll show you my thighs," and men being what they are, they all pull out a ten dollar bill. The girl pulls up her dress all the way to her legs in full.

Conversation continues, and the men, a bit excited, have all taken off
    their coats.

Then the young girl says, "If you will give me $100, I will show you where I was operated on for appendicitis."

All three fork over the money. The girl then turns to the window and points outside at a building they're passing. "See there in the distance. That's the hospital where I had it done!"

Two builders (Chris and James) are seated either side of a table in a rough pub when a well-dressed man enters, orders a beer and sits on a stool at the bar. The two builders start to speculate about the occupation of the suit.

Chris: -I reckon he's an accountant.

    James: -No way - he's a stockbroker.

Chris: -He ain't no stockbroker! A stockbroker wouldn't come in here!

The argument repeats itself for some time until the volume of beer gets the better of Chris and he makes for the toilet. On entering the toilet he sees that the suit is standing at a urinal. Curiosity and the several beers get the better of the builder...

Chris: -Scuse me.... no offence meant, but me and me mate were wondering what you do for a living?

Suit: -No offence taken! I'm a Logical Scientist by profession!

    Chris: -Oh! What's that then?

Suit:-I'll try to explain by example... Do you have a goldfish at home?

Chris:-Er...mmm... well yeah, I do as it happens!

Suit: -Well, it's logical to follow that you keep it in a bowl or in a pond. Which is it?

    Chris: -It's in a pond!

Suit: -Well then it's reasonable to suppose that you have a large garden then?

Chris: -As it happens, yes I have got a big garden!

Suit: -Well then it's logical to assume that in this town that if you have a large garden that you have a large house?

Chris: -As it happens I've got a five bedroom house... built it myself!

Suit: -Well given that you've built a five bedroom house it is logical to assume that you haven't built it just for yourself and that you are quite probably married?

Chris: -Yes I am married, I live with my wife and three children!

Suit: -Well then it is logical to assume that you are sexually active with your wife on a regular basis?

    Chris:-Yep! Four nights a week!

Suit: -Well then it is logical to suggest that you do not masturbate very often?

    Chris: -Me? Never

Suit: -Well there you are! That's logical science at work!

    Chris:-How's that then?

Suit: -Well from finding out that you had a goldfish, I've told you about the size of garden you have, the size of house, your family and your sex life!

Chris: -I see! That's pretty impressive... thanks mate!

Both leave the toilet and Chris returns to his mate.

James: -I see the suit was in there. Did you ask him what he does?

Chris: -Yep! He's a logical scientist!

    James: -What's that then?

Chris: -I'll try and explain. Do you have a goldfish?

    James: -Nope

Chris: -Well then, you're a wanker.

Three women are about to be executed. One's a brunette, one's a redhead, and one's a blonde. Two guards brings the brunette forward, and the executioner asks if she has any last requests.

She says no, and the executioner shouts, "Ready . . . Aim . . ."

    Suddenly the brunette yells, "earthquake!!"

Everyone is startled and looks around. She manages to escape.

The angry guards then bring the redhead forward, and the executioner asks if she has any last requests.

She says no, and the executioner shouts, "Ready . . . Aim . . ."

    The redhead then screams, "tornado!!"

Yet again, everyone is startled and looks around. She too escapes execution.

By this point, the blonde had figured out what the others did. The guards bring her forward, and the executioner asks if she has any last requests.

She also says no, and the executioner shouts, "Ready . . . Aim . . ."

    The blonde shouts, "fire!!"

A couple decide to go for a meal on their anniversary and after some deliberation decide on their local Chinese restaurant. They peruse the menu and finally agree to share the chef's special 'Chicken Surprise'.

The waiter brings over the meal, served in a lidded cast iron pot. Just as the wife is about to start in on the meal, the lid of the pot rises a tiny amount and she briefly sees two beady little eyes looking around before the lid slams back down.

'Good grief, did you see that?' she asks her husband. He hasn't so she asks him to look in the pot.

He reaches for it and again the lid rises, and again he! sees two beady little eyes looking around before it firmly slams back down.

Rather perturbed he calls the waiter over, explains what is happening and demands an explanation.

'Well sir', says the waiter, 'What did you order?'

'We both chose the same', he replies, 'the Chicken Surprise'

'Oh I do apologise, this is my fault' says the waiter.....

oh my, PPQ you aren't the only busy bee zipping about! just back from the gym and grocery store. arms are a bit shaky from heavy workout but
    it feels good and healthy.

Tuesday I was at my new gallery where my brand new, larger than life display will be unveiled perhaps as early as tomorrow. eeeeeek!

    Re: October the 18th ...

    Good evening friends,

Woke up to another super foggy morning here, such strange weather. The AC keep coming on, usually it’s the heater this time of year. Who knows what’s next?

PQ, sounds like you’re going to need some antibiotics & maybe some breathing treatments, sorry
Glad your place is coming together, bit by bit! Don’t overwork yourself, you need some rest. Yep, B12 supplements are pretty much destroyed by stomach acid so the sublingual route is best unless you go get B12 injections somewhere. See if you can find the 5000 mcg dose somewhere or take a look at it on the Stop Aging Now website.

Mick, glad your piggy bunnies didn’t hurt themselves overeating, haha!!
Looking forward to Trump getting his ass kicked on TV tonight, woo hoo
    Good jokes, love the pics.

Pauly, if you take a B12 supplement, be sure to take it in the morning only. I’d decrease my caffeine intake for anxiety relief. I get very little caffeine any more, helps my B/P stay stable too with less caffeine.
Do you think Trump will even show up. Tonight? I have a feeling he’s planning something, hmm.

Det, your big prints look totally awesome! They will be great gallery additions, good for you!

    MAE ALL...

Lav...saw your light on so I thought I'd wait so we didn't X-post. I woke up to 14F but at least it wasn't snowing. Unfortunately the snow started up about 10am and hasn't stopped. I was thinking antibiotics too but things seem to have improved and I haven't heard from either Doc. If it's not too complicated an answer what are breathing treatments? I'll be watching the debate tonight too.

Det...thought you were going to say arms are a bit shaky from heavy groceries. LOL I'm excited for your larger than life display being unveiled. The pics look great! Got my fingers crossed for you.

Pauly...thanks, I think in this case "no news is good news". Are you back at work? I've been thinking about the gun toting mama and if she did the right thing and isolated.

Mick...I was glad to hear the peskies were ok after their partying. Thought for sure you'd be posting "now I'm administering medicine to both of them". LOL Mentioned to my arthur itis doc that I've been getting stiffer and sorer almost a week before my next injection is due. She said she could increase my injections to every three 3 weeks but was a little hesitant to do that as it increases the amount of biologic in my system. We both agreed that because of the pandemic forcing me to work from home I haven't been active enough. Now that I'm going into work daily and getting active we decided to see how it goes and leave things as is. Appliances arrived yesterday and son managed to break the dryer last night. Go figure. I'm sure it wasn't him, I was standing right there when he opened the dryer door and there was a type of grinding noise and it won't start again. Was hoping he'd deal with the supplier today and get it fixed/replaced but when I got home it was obvious nothing had been done. I have decided to work from home tomorrow, well at least I'm not going into the office LOL. Will try and sort it out tomorrow.

Thinking of you Sam, AJ and TG hope all is good.

    Have a good night.....PPQP

Mae everybody, PQ, gun toting mama got fired a few months ago then punched my coworker, I think I told you guys the story? So it wasn't her it's the coworker who has asthma, cirrhosis and diabetes who got it and she's all clear to come back to work today, I'm happy she's ok, she only had a small cough, body aches and fatigue. Lav, the debate was boring, all they did is the same as last time but not as much arguing I guess cuz of the mute button haha, Det, I didn't see the sunset but yeah we've had a weird sky for months now, still smoke from somewhere or just city haze, Mick hope all is well with you and the bunnies, I might take Kells female dog cuz she's being mean to Romeo, she's turning into a grumpy old lady like her Nan haha, much love to all and wishes for a great BF Fryday!
