    Re: 21Mar

    Greetings folks,

Rain & more rain all day today. Now they’re talking about near 80 degrees on Friday, haha. Crazy weather as always around here!
I spent the day working on some embroidery projects just for fun. Neither one of us has had any adverse vaccine reactions so I’m pleased. We are expecting the landscaper tomorrow to take a look at what needs to be done & give us an estimate. It will be worth the $$ for sure. YB sold off all his CPR & First Aid teaching equipment today so that cleared off a large shelf in the garage. He’s done giving those classes. I’m still feeling so sad about the 2 mass shootings here in the past week. Getting these assault weapons banned is a must! I think the Democrats in Congress can get it done & shut up the Republicans once & for all

PQ, sounds like you had quite an effective day yesterday, yay! If only you could have the rest of the week off, oh boy.
I hope the snow was just a tease, you really don’t need any. I think if today’s rain had been snow we would be knee deep right now.

Mick. maybe it’s time for a bunny trainer to get them to stop messing with your gardens, haha!
Blessings on you for still having the desire to do that heavy work. Sorry about Amy’s cat, our pets are so special

Hello to Pauly, Det, Sam & Pie.

    Have a nice night all!

    Re: 21Mar

    Mae all,
My goodness, have I been away all these day? So sorry! Everything from Saturday on has been one big long extravaganza... moving, packing, cleaning, figuring, moving, finding, losing, finding again.... and driving, lots of driving. Up to MA to get my new-to-me-car, over to north central CT to get the car registered (after standing outside for 1.5 hours, even with an appointment!) Schleppers r us. My dog is a saint, going along with all this craziness and being left alone far more often than usual. He did get up in the middle of the first night and looked so disoriented that I thought maybe his memory was failing... but he seems okay now... I think it was all just a bit much. I am also trying to keep up with work. So glad I am in a motel close to all familiar things, really grateful for that.

Mick the big walk looked tough! And a lintel? Maybe you don't need to go hunting for artifacts... maybe they are right there in you property! Keep digging!

Lav, I am so happy to hear that you will be hiring someone to do the garden cleanup, that is such hard and brutal work. Go have fun in your workshop, and maybe you'll sell enough to pay him!

PPQ, when I lived in MN, we wouldn't think of putting anything out in a garden until after Memorial Day... waaaay too cold. Good luck!

Pauly, so nice to hear from you - but sorry to hear about the guinea pigs... they are so cute. Take care, and hope you are feeling warm spring by now.

Hello to Det and Sam and all...

Well, my laptop just gave me the "low battery" warning. I think my mind and body are doing the same... so I'm signing off for now. Hopefully getting recharged overnight! Take care all --

    OMG....WHAT A DAY!!!

i have been putting out fires (work wise) all day starting at 7am. Sent my last frustrated email to the program development team at 7pm and shut it down. Actually turned off my email at 5pm, couldn't keep up with the frustration coming through. I am now going to escape into my book and forget about everything. Sorry for the vent but I'll check in tomorrow morning....PPQP

    Re: 21Mar

    Greetings friends,

Everyone super busy today? Seems so anyway.
Cloudy but dry all day, tomorrow it warms up & gets windy so maybe we’ll end up with less mud. We did get the estimate for the yard work today & that young man has the job, God bless him
Made a good copycat Olive Garden soup today with shredded turkey & potato gnocchi, fresh spinach from the green house, yum.

Cyn, I still wish I could give you a hand with everything you have going on. Thinking of you & Zander & hope you get some rest too.

PQ, if you were an hourly employee they would be paying you a ton of OT!!! Don’t let them drive you nuts!

Mick, what’s up with you? Busy day?

Hello to Pauly, Det, Sam & Pie.

I just remembered 12 years ago today I dumped the last of the wine down the drain &was scared to detah. Didn’t know how I was going to ‘handle’ everything going forward. Guess I figured it out, I’m still here & found my old self along the way

CONGRATS! WOW! WAY TO GO! SO PROUD OF YOU!

Yup, another busy day for me but the development team made major progress so one small hiccup left and I'm good to go. With deadlines that effect others I'm not one to work by the clock. Honestly, most of the extra work I do is so I can maintain my sanity in the long run. LOL I made a list of everything that needs to get done by April 1st and now I can get on with the rest of it. It was quiet on the garden member front since we woke up to a pile of wet, heavy snow. Spring in Calgary can be dodgy but at least it took the wanting to plant itch out of their systems. I'm glad you were happy with the yard work estimate, cross that off your list.

Shout out to everyone else and we'll hear from you when we hear from you, I get it. LOL

We're supposed to have a nice weekend weather wise and then snow on Monday. Of course, that's when I have to go in for my annual eye check up.

    Wishing everyone a restful evening...PPQP

    Mae all,

CONGRATS LAV!!!! You are a shining example of how it works, and you've shared yourself so generously with others, helping them along the way. And you've watched those grandkids grow up, and seen every moment of their development, and have been there for them. YOU ROCK! Thank you for continuing to be here on this and other threads, and part of this community - we are all the beneficiaries, and are grateful.

Mick, I hope that all is OK, with bunnies and Julie's Dad and all. And hoping you are not out after another pile of rocks, or stuck in a bog...

Pauly, how are all the kids? Dogs? Has hubs decided on his work life yet? Sending you good thoughts.

Det, hoping asthma is gone and work life is turning around... Hey, I could use a new recipe...

Hello to Sam and all others passing through...

Full moon coming up... I am trying to "plant" all good seeds through my actions, with the intention that they provide me with good direction and energy for the second half of the moon... there is a resident hawk here in the meadows by the motel... I am trying to see that "big picture" , that 10,000 foot view.

    Hold the light...

    Oy ABeroooos!

oh my, busier than busy here trying to get things rolling with the biz in a new location. yet ANOTHER new software suite I'm smack in the middle of cram/learning
around the clock and had to switch computers in the middle of it for technical reasons. ack! insane dreams lately... probably stress related. Thankfully not a drinking
inclination to be hand. In fact I chucked my E-cigarette in the bin a couple days ago and am on the patch for a bit. Maybe not the perfect time but what is anyway?

Lav, 12 big ones! abalooootley fabulous my dear!!

Tree, a new recipe? hmm.... I saw an absolutely enchanting episode of 'chefs table' last night after my eyes were about burned-out from computer work. it was about Turkish food
and now I'm going to poke around in that culinary ethnicity a bit. Looking at cookbooks by Musa Dagdeviren (the chef showcased in that episode). news to follow

Made myself stop working last night and do some wacky creative/artistic photography which was absolutely fun. I was taking some wildly experimental pictures of a super cute retro 'rocket' lamp
the girls got me recently. Lemme see if I can upload some shots.....

pictures: Shared album - London Lewis - Google Photos

canvassing the neighborhood today to make new connections but most offices are by appointment only and many are not there in spite of google maps. arg! change of plans.
BTW... running adds on FB is super frustrating if anyone has played with it. such a convoluted mess. Oh well, lack of sleep is certainly messing with me. I had this reoccurring nightmare
about being abducted by aliens. seriously! wtf?

    PPQ I feel you!

ack, girly had to get picked up from school as she's coming down with something. what a day.

sounds like a meditation is in order for garlic breath.

shouts and hugs to the whole gang! Pauly, Mick, Tree, PPQ, Sam... missing anyone?

    be well loves

    Re: 21Mar

    Good evening friends,

Having a super duper windy day here with gusts ranging 45-50 mph, crazy. It was sunny & hot at 83. 100 year record broken today & next week it goes back to cold/chilly.

Thanks all for the anniversary wishes
Can’t believe it’s been 12 years & I haven’t had the need to numb my senses. I have had plenty of problems but the decision to not drink again stuck with me & got me to this point. I appreciate each & every one of you for being here with me. We are definitely on this sober journey together.

PQ, thank you & I like the way you protect your sanity, something we all must do.
Wishing you good luck with all the projects & sunny, warm weather to go along

Cyn, getting back in control when my grandson was born was my #1 priority & I accomplished just that. He’s 12 years old now, unbelievable, still my personal hero.
The coming full moon has messed with my sleep the past few nights, never fails, haha!

Mick, thank you for the sweet poem
I am a happy camper today, grateful for making this milestone & grateful for all of you.

Det, thanks for your words & I can see you have been super busy. Loving the new pics, seeing them on FB & IG
I hope some new business pops up soon for you. Wish I had some words of wisdom for you on FB ads......

Hello to Pauly, Sam & everyone.

Going to go out & play with the chickens a little while the sun is still here.
    Have a splendid night everyone.

Mae everybody, Lav congratulations on your 12 years! Amazing job Det, hubs was trying to advertise on fb and got alot of scammers, it's certainly a different game out there than it was last time he worked for himself, also he used to be able to work under a handyman license but now they're saying he has to have his contractor license to do any plumbing work so he's just stuck with this company he works for or find another one oh well, PQ, sounds like you're keeping busy, Cyn, you too always on the go, Mick hope everything is good with you, no mojo Saturday that's for sure, see if I can get with it here soon, much love to all and wishes for a great BF day!
