    MAE ALL...

Mick...OMG, sounds like you had the Tuesday from hell. Glad to hear there's no incidents /accidents so far today. You watch those Peskies don't overeat. The foot still swells up by the end of the day but it looks like the infection is going away. I'm off to the Doc in a few minutes for yet another checkup on it. Yup, they went ahead with the Stampede however it's a scaled down version. It's all about the politics. You won't see me down there.

Lav...we're joining you with the heat wave again except ours is supposed to last well into next week. I've been on anti biotics for 14 days now and don't think I'm finished. I believe you just can't keep taking them. We'll see what the Doc says.

TG...I feel sorry that you're so overworked. When is the festival? Wish you didn't have to deal with the heat on top of everything.

Det...well done on your presentation. I hate public speaking/presentations but it sounds like you nailed it. And new business with a best-selling author, pat yourself on the back.

Got to get myself out the door. Hope everyone has a great day....PPQP

    Re: 11th July

    Hey friends,

Hazy, hot & humid ~ as usual. Grateful my hair is cut so short or I’d be wearing an afro style, seriously.
Accompanied the spouse to his 3 month dermatology check. No new melanoma but he did had an odd little growth removed from his eyelid, ugh. I swear the older we get the more weird things get.

Cyn, sorry about the heat out there, I know it’s unusual for that area. Hope you found a good oscillating fan at least. Sounds like yuo need more hands on deck to get everything ready for the festival. Please spare a little time to take care of yourself

Det, wow you are working your way right to the top - good for you
I am not a public speaker in any way shape or form so I applaud you! Keep up the great work & be proud of your accomplishments!

PQ, I hope you got some good news about your foot. People can be on antibiotics for quite a long time. Wonder if you would have benefited by having some infusions at the beginning of whatever is going on.
They are still saying a cold front is arriving Sunday to break up this heat mass. I sure hope so anyway.

Mick, congrats on an accident free day, Lol. I’m thinking maybe you should carry a First Aid backpack wherever you go - just in case.
We have so many young bunnies hopping around our property this summer it’s crazy. And they’re driving the dog cfrazy because she can’t go after them, haha.

Pauly, hope everything is OK with you.

    Hello to Sam & Pie.

    Have a nice night everyone!

Hello and how are we today than? Hope everyone is OK Another a really hot day over here today And success ive fixed the waste water drain tap on the Van in fact it looks better than the original. No incidents or accidents today thank goodness there isn't too much of my body left that hasn't got a scar on it! The garden is looking well at the back it looks like an English country garden with plants dotted all over the place randomly I would love to see that I had created it on purpose but that wouldn't be quite true I checked plants in here there and everywhere and move them to suit

Hiya ppqp how are you today then? How is the foot hope it is better. So it is a scaled-down version of the stampede is it? I don't know how they will manage to do that at full stop you take care and look after yourself

Hiya teegee How are you today than? Hope everything is OK with you. Yes another accident free day today I'm getting good at this! The next location is already plans, we are actually working on next year's. Rabbits are not eating at the moment They are lying in the shade. Take care and look after yourself

Hello Pauly It seems ages since we last spoke to you hope things are going OK as TG says it's about helping each other keeping in touch Not the Spanish Inquisition or A venue to take people apart It is about helping irrespective of what the problem Is. No matter what Itis you take care

    Re: 11th July

MAE ALL...starting week 3 of anti biotics and need to schedule another ultra sound, just to verify the original no blood clot diagnosis...the foot sage continues

Lav...I think if I'd actually gone in and had it looked at when it first started swelling I would have been better off. I tend to put it off and wait and see. Have had many lectures from my Doc and I think this time it may stick. The positive outcome is the pharmacy has pfizer so I'm heading out shortly for my second jab. Going to postpone my biologic injection for 5 days anyways because of the anti biotics.

TG...I hope you're able to get some down time, it's important.

Mick...it's another scorcher over here again today and we're blanketed in smoke from the BC fires. Once I get my shot I'm staying put indoors. Well done on fixing the waste water drain tap accident free. I always think of an English country garden when I see your yard. I don't care how safe they say they are at the Stampede you couldn't pay me to attend.

Shout out to the rest of the gang. Have a good day all...PPQP

    Re: 11th July

    Good evening kids,

Still so hot & disgusting ~ what else is new at this point?
Can’t believe my granddaughter has been at camp all week, it ends tomorrow afternoon at 4 pm. Anxious to hear if she wants to go back for another week next month, haha! It’s a good experience for kids.
My NP is changing my BP meds - again! Here’s hoping I finally see some stability soon. Getting tired of this to be honest.

Cyn, no rain the past few days, I think Saturday will be wet. Wish I could FedEx some out west!
Hope you’re not too hot up in the hills with no AC. Take care

Mick, Congrats on 2 days in a row with no boo boos!!! I have plenty of scars myself, evidence of a life well lived I think
Glad your garden is happy. I never really really plan mine either, just put things here & there haha. Keep that First Aid kit close then you’ll never need it!!!!

PQ, an US should show good blood flow throughout your foot. If it’s clear (no blood clot) then someone should figure out what’s causing the cellulitis. Is it possible to see an Infectious Disease specialist? It’s possible the antibiotic you’re taking isn’t going to be effective for whatever bacteria caused the infection in the first place. Sometimes yuo have to switch meds until you find the right one. Is it painful in addition to being swollen? I hope you feel better real soon, this has been going on for a while.

Hellos to Det the busy guy & Pauly!

    Re: 11th July

    Mae all -

Quick hello and nite nite... trying not to look at screens too late in the day... it does affect sleep, that's for sure!

Well done on staying accident-free, sir Mick! Your garden sounds lovely... enjoy...

Lav, I was about to ask about how your BP was doing. So sorry that it hasn't gotten straightened out yet. And sorry for the weather... that's not helpin, I'm sure... good, luck!

PPQ, good luck to you as well... so sorry you are still dealing with the foot issues... I like Lav's idea of further enquiry... cant hurt I guess...

Hello to Pauly. Det, Sam and all,others... wishing you well, and know we are all here for, you, and each other.

Did anyone see the story about the Olympic runner who (literally) pushed his opponent to the finish line? His statement about pushing each other to succeed and achieve our dreams was just fabulous... what a person to look up to!

Sending lots of care to all -- thanks for being here...

    Re: 11th July

    Good evening friends,

Same disgusting weather just a different day, haha!!
Nothing big happening here today but I am happy to report seeing some better readings on my BP/HR monitor - fingers crossed.
My daughter says the granddaughter came home from camp today with poison ivy on her face & hands but swears she had a great time, LOL

Cyn, I saw a video today of a mama bear & her two young ones taking a dip in Lake Tahoe with people standing right there!!! She must have been feeling the heat!
We are promised storm tomorrow at dinner time & I can’t wait. Maybe it will get rid of some of this humidity. The haze we’re seeing is supposedly coming from the fires out west, wow!
That was a great story about the Olympic runners. Somehow the Olympics seem so very different from when we were young. I hope you’re taking some time to rest & relax..

Hello to Mick, PQ, Det, Pauly & Pie.

Check in when you can kids & have a good night

    MAE ALL...

Lav...hot & disgusting here too. LOL Lots of smoky haze from the west and south! 2nd US done so we'll see what they have to say. My foot actually felt a lot better this morning, minimal swelling. Will have another checkup with my family Doc and if needed she can refer me to a Infectious Disease specialist. I would just like to know where it came from as there were no open cuts/wounds on my foot. At least there is not pain, a little tender when the swelling is acute. I'm glad your g/daughter had a good time in spite of the poison ivy. Is she going back?

TG...good plan on cutting off screen time early in the evening, a lesson I could learn from. Didn't see the Olympic runner but loved the story, thanks for sharing. Arm a little bit sorer from the 2nd jab but no other side effects so far. Glad it's the weekend, I can ignore everything.

Shout out to the rest of the gang. Have a good night all...PPQP

    Re: 11th July

    Mae all -

Finally checking in earlier than 9 pm... I have work to continue working on this evening, so thought I should post first...

Lav, poison ivy on face and hands!!! Oh no! Glad to hear she had a good time... guess she'll need that special soap when she goes next time...
Also very glad to hear that you are seeing good results from the new BP med... crossing fingers for you! Also for the weather... how are the poor chickens handling it? Some people in PHX kept chickens... I never figured out how they made it through an AZ summer... hope you get your thunderstorms this weekend...

Mick, I suppose you are having a wonderful time wherever you are... will be interested to hear about it. Sound like the football crowd for kind of rowdy after the last game... but I'm sure alcohol was not involved . Travel safely!

Det, how is it going? I hope you are getting busy with work... you sure have "worked your plan" wonderfully. Good luck -

Pauly, sure do miss your voice here... hoping all is well with the whole fam...sending hugs...

Hello to all dropping by - stay safe and stay cool!

I am off to visit stepdaughter tomorrow, back on Sunday - will write again then...
