Busy, busy at work these days. Booked my first wedding! YAY People are coming out of the woodwork wanting to book events. I'm starting to feel a little stressed as I have deadlines and certain things aren't getting done. I have a one-on-one with the boss tomorrow (every 2 weeks) so will catch him up on everything and get things going.

TG...Yup, you told us you were going out of town, doesn't mean we won't keep posting to you. I thought you were headed to your nephew's didn't realize you had the other event. Scary drive for you, glad you're ok. Sounds like you have a busy schedule ahead of you, remember to take some time for you and chill.

Mick...isn't that just typical, the minute the vaca is over the good weather shows up. Glad you're getting the same at home, easier to get things done as you never stop. Hope Julie's meeting was positive. I agree, breaking up the video might be worth it. Although it was long I sure enjoyed it. You're going to have to come up with something for Julie's bday, especially since she upgraded you to first class. The boss has decided he's going to move into the program coordinator's office, bigger space and better situated for meetings. He doesn't think the PC is coming back but if she does we'll stick her in his old office.

Lav...we had a nice warm, sunny day here as well. Tomorrow will be a different story. The heavier snow is supposed to arrive later this afternoon so at least I won't have to shovel the car out in the morning. Nice score on the chicken feed, hope that lasts for awhile. How old is your grandson? I forget. It might be worth exposing him to the rest of the work before he decides about raising his own. But there's probably time.

Hello everyone and how are we today then? Yesterday was obviously a bit of a blimp, today day we are back to normal persisting down with rain. I was out in the garden her despite the rain wants to get a couple of plants putting the ones in the greenhouse are doing absolutely brilliant. I bought a new fitness band and that came yesterday, it's an amazbit band 5. Pretty good at seems to be working ok at the moment of know to be honest instructions that came with it are worse than useless. Luckily enough there are instructions on the internet it is pretty good however it showed my sleep has been really poor. I went to bed about 10 last night, never slept much was up at 5 this morning and they told me I had slept for 3 hours probably right but it looks pretty rubbish when you see it in print.

Hiya ppqp how are you today then? Firstly don't get stressed what happens will happen, you work to live remember? Secondly congratulations on getting things on the way with regards to bookings. Don't know how you get on with the new boss on your one-to-one bilat with him today day why don't you tell him that that because of previous events in respect of the program coordinator and the previous boss you did lose a bit of confidence and you would feel better with his support. It's a mile at so it will be recorded anyway. Best of luck with that one if he has any sense he will assist you. Yes I agree with you with respect of the video being shortened or indeed making two videos as opposed to the one 10 it's quite difficult getting free music off the internet that you don't have to pay royalties on to match up with videos. Did you get the snow? Take care and look after yourself.

Nice-ish day here . Looks like it will be in the mid-50’s most of the week with some rain moving in Thursday which is probably Mick’s rain, haha!!
I’m trying to get more steps in daily & spend less time on the bike since the weather is easing up. Whatever I do it needs total 60 minutes

PQ, with business ramping up & the pandemic nearing the end you’re going to feel extra busy. I have a feeling it’s going to work itself out though in the end. Hang in there & stay happy
My grandson is turning 11 in April & he’s a hearty kid so he should be able to sling chicken poop for me, Lol. I’m mostly looking for ways to get him off his phone & laptop when he’s here. I can always offer a $$ incentive, that usually works.

Mick, your daffs look very pretty, love the bright yellow after a winter of everything being brown.
I’ve ordered a bunch of seeds & will get YB to start plants in the greenhouse for me, eventually. Good luck with the fitness band, be sure to follow the directions you found.
I’m dealing with that weird sleep pattern too, sleep for an hour or two then wide awake for a few hours then sleep again for a few hours. It’s annoying &I wonder if the chnaging season has anything to do with it, who knows?

Mick…better to have it post twice than not at all. LOL The boss and I get along great. The one-on-one bilat is basically to find out how things are going and if there’s anything he can do to help. He is very supportive and well aware of what transpired over the last 5 years. He has the same attitude as you about work to live. I think my biggest problem is I’m a perfectionist. The first thing he said was if you could look after the programs for now there will be a salary adjustment. We’ve had a lot of laughter in the office lately and it’s been nice to see. No snow this morning just fog which is very rare. Bit of freezing rain out there right now with snow forming overnight. I don’t think the snow will amount to much and we’re back to above freezing temps on the weekend. Our Community Garden AGM is next week and I’ve been getting swamped with requests for a garden plot. We could double our garden and still not have enough for the amount of people on the waitlist.

Lav…yes, I just have to take a breath and know that it’ll all work out. I’m one of those that want it done yesterday. I think your grandson having a paying job working with your chickens is a great idea and it would get him off his phone & laptop. Pick me as the 3rd member of the waking/sleeping gang. Same pattern here for me.

i think we all feel strange, these terrible things going on... not sure what to do but support those supporting the victims.

I seem to be endlessly tired, but hopefully will get a few things "done and dusted" before moving on next Tuesday the 8th...

hiya all ..how are we then today? hope all is well,thought I would post early this morning .....still not got any update on the care for Julies dad yet ..the company that sounded good cannnot provide ..it is not their cachement area apparently ...he lives in no mans land between Rochdale and Oldham ,and neither boroughs claim responsibilty ..unless you are paying them money !!we will keep going ,however I can see it taking a toll on Julie .The social system over here is a crock of shi. when you are in it over here .Not raining here today in fact it looks quite bright ...need to move the van etc ..the guys are coming to clean the roof and guttering today .

hiya teegee, how are you then today?keep your chin up..unfortunately ,there is not a lot we can do in the Ukraine,save help the victims when we can .hope you are getting over your tiredness .

I did 1026 steps yesterday,and tbh it was more difficult than I thought ,but just shows how important it is to keep moving ..especially for young uns like us ..the fitness band is a nightmare to set up ...simply because I had set my phone up not to be a pain the ass notifying me of stuff like Joe Bloggs in London has just had bacon for breakfast..I turned off and hid all of that stuff ...and now I need it ...oops ..thats a good incentive for your grandson ..take care and have a good day

Cyn, glad you’re feeling better today. Some of my friends who had Covid tell me they are experiencing long term fatigue & other issues including increased hot flashes - ugh. Looks like it’s going to take a good long while for everyone to get their full strength back. I agree with you that the bravery of the people in Ukraine is amazing. It really doesn’t surprise me either, they are very strong & proud people. I think of them all day long & hope they can keep the resistance up & going.

PQ, glad to have you on board the sleepless train. What’s up with that? Is it the season change coming up or something lunar? I just don’t know.
My grandsons are on an adventure this week. Their Dad took them out of school & drove 17 hrs straight from here to FL yesterday. My son loves driving, haha! This was a good time for him to take off between his classes for his masters program. My DIL did not go, someone has to feed the many, many animals they have living in their house, (including something like a couple hundred tarantulas) Lol
I won’t go feed those creepy things. They are my DIL’s project, of course.

Mick, sorry to hear about the lack of home care available in your area. With us baby boomers aging the way we are even more services are going to be needed. Ihope Julie can find some decent help.

Another busy day. Helped childcare set up their terms for the fall and it took longer than expected. All morning to be exact! I kept telling the director to slow down, she kept making stupid mistakes. Swamped with rental inquiries and then the account wanted me to proof a contract she made for our catering staff. I haven't even finished the contracts I'm working on. Geeze!

Left a little early to make supper before a virtual garden executive meeting in 1/2hr. Turned the oven on and after awhile thought why hasn't it beeped to tell me it's ready. Got up and looked and it was off. Must have hit too many buttons. LOL So running a little behind schedule. Will read back and respond as soon as I can.....PPQP
