    Mae all -
Home, after a 7-hour drive in the heat and directly into a west wind. But made it fine. The visit/work was very rewarding, and my friends feel like they can breathe again! Weíll be keeping in touch so that I can help with maintenance... Iíll try to load doe pics tomorrow.

Lav, I appreciated you saying that Paulyís family has a GoFundMe - I found it on Facebook and contributed. Pauly and the family are constantly on my mind... such a shock, such heartache... and also sad to hear about your friendís son. There is a lot of pain in the world...

Mick, your daughter sounds like a gem... I hope she gets some better life balance, but at least she has her home now. All your garden projects sound wonderful... hugs to the rabbits, and well wishes for you.

PPQ, sounds like things keep hopping for you. Good luck on the eye surgery,,whenever that it. Wishing you good weather.

Pauly, sending special comfort and love...💜

Happy Solstice to all - I can hardly keep my eyes open, so will write more tomorrow 🌹

Hello everyone and how are we today then question mark hope all is well l am doing this on my phone for some strange reason I couldn't get on the internet on the computer. So here we go. Again I really sunny day here, temperature at the moment is 28 degrees. Now that might not sound a lot, but to us over here in the frozen North it's like the fires of Hell! Julie is a way swimming, and I have just been to the shops. She loves this retirement lark full stop and yes I have just been to the charity shop and bought another hat, I've got more hats than heads but still managed to lose them!

Hiya ppqp and how are you today then? Hope all is well. Well did you manage to get the garden started ok without the rain at 10 to 1 odds! Hope everything goes well for you. Tomorrow if I am right it is only a half day then the bridge class starts doesn't it?Best of luck with that.. oops I meant Best of skill

Hiya lav how are you today?I did my head that bad burning it, I had to put some sudocreme on it..which is white..ended up going around like a cotton bud.take care and have a good day

Hello everyone else. Hope things are OK with you

Big hello to everyone else watching

    Good evening friends,

The rain has started, we’ll see how much we actually get. I hope the chickens put themselves inside their house, they’re really not too smart haha!
Nothing else too exciting going on around here except I found what looks like a new bunny nest in my raised flower bed last evening. All the flowers in the center of the bed are smashed down & a big hole dug in there. I will never be able to keep my beagle out of there, not sure what to do to protect the future newbies.

Cyn, glad you’re home safe from your trip. Nice that the job went well.
I have seen Pauly posting memories on FB a few times, I hope she’s OK. Such a hard time I’m sure

Mick, you won’t lose those hats if you just leave them on your head when you’re outside haha!!
Trying to make sure YB keeps his skin covered when he’s outside is a job - melanoma doesn’t care. Glad Julie is making the most of her free time now, that’s what it’s all about!!!

PQ, hope your day was great!

Hello to Pauly, Det & Sam.

    Take care all,

    MAE ALL...

TG...good to see your post and that you're home safe and sound. Sounds like the visit/work was a huge success. Would love to see some pics.

Mick...glad to hear you picked up another hat, saves us the delivery charges. LOL Sounds like retirement life is working for Julie. Yup, half day tomorrow then bridge. If I get 1/2 the cards I got last week I'll be happy. The "girls" want to continue to play over the summer and I'm ok with that except they have to realize that they're going to have to run the club themselves. It was fun using some of my vacation time to be able to play with them but that's not going to continue. Somebody's going to have to step up.

Lav...so did the chicken get themselves into bed? cc.jpg Bunnies in the hole? That will be difficult to control your beagle. Had a good day, got a lot accomplished. We're supposed to get rain starting around 3am, hope it doesn't wake me up.

Shout out to everyone else. Have a good night all....PPQP

    Re: June 19

Good afternoon all and how are we today then? I am currently in the queue for fuel at Costco comma and have been for the last 40 minutes come on hence the reason why I am on my phone full stop it is absolute Madness here, there is a circuit through the car park that they have made cars go through, and it is just absolutely crazy. A lad in a car just tried to jump in front of me coming from the car park full stop bearing in mind the amount of time I and other have been waiting in the queue you I thought I would have a word with him. After the the oh I'm sorry I didn't realise I was a q he jumped back in his car and still trying to get in front of me full stop conversation number 2 then took place he started getting a bit mouthy few more people turned up in the end he left after making semaphore signals to me with his fingers which clearly upset me not! It is really hot here today, but thunderstorms are expected tonight. A nest of bunnies? That's absolutely brilliant lav.I am sure you will find a way to protect them.
Hiya teegee how are you then?hope things are OK for you

Ppqp how are you?how did the bridge go?did you win?was chatting to a friend this morning..he is canoeing and on the rapids somewhere in the rockies.

    Re: June 19

Hello to all- I am posting early, as in a bit I will be hosting my ďgodsonĒ as he travels x-country driving to a new home in Spokane. Heís getting their car out there so that the family (wife and 1 child) can fly out and start up their lives. (He is starting med school).
So, I got my apartment sort of cleaned up, fresh sheets on the bed, etc. picked up some breakfast food; his hope is for mexican food this evening, so Iíll bring in or weíll go out.

I seem to be more tired than usual, so I hope I can stay awake to be a good listener!!

I hope all are well... Mick, so sorry for the long gas lines, and really, what do people expect when they try to squeeze in? That they somehow are so special? Sheesh...

Wishing all well and cool- take care all ó
    TG

    MAE ALL...

Rain all day, good day to play cards. Just 2 tables of us so we were finished quite early. Went through the bar procedure with the boss as our bartender bailed on us at the last minute and we have an event on Saturday. Another weekend where I won't be turning my phone on. LOL

Mick...wow, almost an hour to get gas. What a jerk. Glad there was someone else besides just you to deal with him, it could have been a lot worse. Cards weren't as good as last week but I still ended up winning! Took home 1/2 the pot a whopping $1.

TG...I could play any type of card game any time. With a family of 8 kids it was the cheapest entertainment. It's so nice that you can host your grandson tonight. He'll probably be just as tired as you are.

Waves to Det, Sam, Pauly and Lav...I'm sure you'll be posting soon. Had a craving for a pork chop so off to get that on the BBQ. Have a good night all....PPQP

    Re: June 19

    Good evening friends,

    We did end up with a 2.5” rainfall - that’s a lot!!!
Just reheated some leftover vegan vegetable lasagne, my favorite with a side salad

PQ, the chickens did finally go to bed last evening so I could close up the hatch door & turn the lights off, haha!!
Sounds like your card playing was a success, good for you! Did you end up getting a big rain too?

Cyn, hope you have a great visit with your godson. I wish him a lot of luck in med school, it’s pretty brutal but it’s nice to have a doc in the family
Do you have any allergy problems because they can make you unusually tired. I know this from personal experience. Have a great evening. The blueberry donuts were dairy free & delicious!

Mick, glad you stood your ground at the gas station, geez. Some youngsters are so utterly sef-absorbed. Whatever happened to manners?
I haven’t seen any baby bunnies in the nest yet but I will keep an eye out for them. I just wish the mama had picked a safer spot (away from the nosey beagle).

Hello to Pauly & the rest & wishing everyone a nice night!
