hiya Lav ,how are you today then? hope all is well.Did you get your thunderstorms?I hope so .Yes it was nice on my brothers boat ..it has all the home comforts ,but its called a narrowboat for a reason ...you can swing a cat in it ....a very very small cat .!glad Iwent for the motorhome option ..mind you Id look pretty bloody silly trying to go down the road in a boat!!

Last night’s storm dropped .02” of rain, haha. Not even enough to wet the plants or anything else really.
Clouds are moving in now so maybe we’ll get a real rain tonight.

Mick, we are actually eating tomatoes from our garden, very red & juicy. I guess they’ve liked the heat. Hope your green tomatoes ripen up soon so you can enjoy them.
I guess that narrowboat is more of a one person deal haha! You & Julie look like expert kayakers

Hi all - I didn’t see it, but I heard that there was a beautiful moonrise over the lake tonight...

First weekend concert done, now one more tomorrow night... then maybe a bit of rest.

Mick, the boat sounds narrow but fun... No kayaking today, too many things turning up needing to be done, my specialty.

Lav, sorry about no rain. It was 90 here; I think a first... it felt like the sun wanted to grill me when I was out in it!!

Hiya everyone, how are you today then?hope all is well with you. Pretty cool over here today, but fine by me .jeeves was up to his usual tummy ache..ended up giving him medication and massaging his tummy at 12.30 am this morning. I am out metal detecting tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Huge thunderstorm rolled threw last night, knocked out power for awhile, so didn't get a chance to post yesterday, was too late when the power came back. We've discovered a ground nest of wasps in the community garden. Ground nests can get huge so it was recommended that we get a professional exterminator in ASAP. Never heard of them before. Met with the exterminator today so hopefully the issue is dealt with. Extremely hot and very muggy out there. Another thunderstorm with tornado warnings again this afternoon.

Mick...I hope Jeeves is doing better and that you can get out to your detecting tomorrow.

TG...hope you get a bit of a rest after this concert.

Lav...no heat relief yet, supposed to last until Tuesday. Hope the Lyle Lovett concert was great.
