Well, I can't believe the weather...it's just gorgeous. And being a Saturday there's quite a few sailing boats on the Waitemata Harbour today...so beautiful.
OK so my stake out didn't happen (friggin cold here when the sun goes down) BUT no more veggies were attacked last night. I did go down to the patch nd make a noisy speech as to how I "practiced the dark art of PUMP" regularly (thanks G for putting it so eloquently for me!!) and it must have scared the little bugger off...Ha!!
Mr Cakes & I were considering going to see some live music tonight...a fantastic Kiwi band called Fat Freddies Drop - but I think the kybosh has been put on it. I'll have to get the new CD instead.

Hi Angel

So, nobody around today except you and me, it seems. Another beautiful day here. I've been down at the beach taking some shell photos. Have just downloaded them all to combine with other ocean photos I have and I am running out of disk space. Bugger! I was hoping this computer would last the distance until hubby brings the portable HDD to transfer them, but it seems I am going to have to do some major maintenance.

Glad your vegie patch has not been attacked again. What do you think is attacking?

Computer maintanance?? I'm much too technically challenged for that...
I think it was an animal as opposed to an insect...we have rats in the bush and hedgehogs and possums...could be any of those I guess. I might go to the plant barn & ask someone...I'm learning as I go!!!
Is it almost school hols over there?? So Mr Pan is coming up to QLD??

Yes, Mr Pan is coming on Saturday. School hols start Easter Tuesday. I haven't seen him for 3 months now, so I might not be on here much.
