    Daily Fitness Check-In

Hey all MWOers... I started posting in Londoner's "Ask the Trainer" thread but thought I was hijacking it a bit so thought I'd start a new one. I was thinking that I'd find a Daily Check-In thread pretty useful. Hope some of you agree, and join me!

      Hi, SBL! Good idea.

1 hour walk with a small dog so not as fast as desired
2 modified reps of the 7' workout

      Feelin' tired but good!

Awesome, NS sounds like a good active day. Tired is good, and "pain is just weakness leaving the body"!

OK, so- now that I've cleaned up the location of my posts/threads to hopefully more appropriate locations... I promise most of my posts will not be so giant, long (boring?) and detailed. They'll be "just the facts, ma'am".

So, today for Skullbaby- rest day. light stretching/yoga.

              Daily Fitness Check-In

Yesterday- trying to shake off the cobwebs of a hangover, decided to make a workout a priority- was glad I did, it lifted my mood. Did heavy deadlifts, bench, and back. Felt good after

Today, feeling sore in my lower back for sure. Today's a rest day- might see about some stretching/yoga.

Dottie, I see your post back in May went unanswered... well, I too would like to revive this thread.

Today I have no exercise planned but am eating at a comfortable calorie deficit and restricting my carbs to veggies and one piece of fruit. Tomorrow I'm back to lifting weights. I may try to add some cardio this weekend.

Ok now this is gonna sound really dumb and stupid and your gonna get people say don't do it listen to me and blah blah blah, but If you want to exercise at home go out and buy a nintendo wiii and wii fit. I've been using it for a couple of months and i'm feeling healthier and am a lot more toned now, and i'm only a little person. It will help strenghten your muscles and tone them as well without bulking up. And if your like soreness do the exercises on wii fit properly with multiple reps and you will hurt. Trust me I was hurting for a couple of weeks.

Good to move the body to be sure Angela. But give me the fresh air of an open park or beach anytime. That connection with nature will enhance the positive mental health benefits of exercise. Bare foot on the grass and sand also connects us directly to the earth. Noice. Or, wi fi wii Nintendo in a city park.
