hiya Bexy, and welcome! Sounds like you're paying some pretty heft consequences for your drinking. Seems like a pretty good time to wipe the slate clean and start over. I'm on day one .. how about you and me start right now together? I'd love the extra company.

I had 9 days of quit that started Nov and blew it on day10 and struggling a bit since then, but after making a fool of myself on the forum last night I'm raring to go again. During that first week, insomnia was my worst symptom. I hope you can sleep, and see you here tomorrow!

hope you're checking in today, Bexy, and feeling hopeful. It's a good day to have a second day of sobriety, and I'd love your company.

This is my first day, to try again. Glad to find others on the same path. Planning my day around non-drinking activities. Well, that doesn't leave me many choices. I can read or try to sleep or go for a walk. Guess I'll go to the store and order book, vitamins, etc. Then keep following the posts to stay on track. Not feeling too well...that should help keep the dragon away.

you can do it, change the thinking "of not drinking, nothing to do" to doing something good for yourself and enjoyable. When you realize the time wasted being wasted was a waste of precious time, you'll wonder how you had time to drink... hope that makes sense. When urge creeps in here's a link that'll keep you busy reading.
