It will be the not-at-all roundy 2439 days for me in the morning and since my evening plans involve those 4 years and younger, I’m feeling very confident

The date calculation thingey says that I have been sober for....

125,366,400 seconds or
2,089,440 minutes or
34,824 hours or
1451 days or
207 weeks and 2 days.

What it doesn't calculate is how many 26-ounce bottles of 40-proof AL I would have consumed during that time. By MY calculation - about 1000!!!! So yep - Shouting out LOUD AND PROUD!! inkele::spin::rara:ink:

For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Who'd have thunk ? Certainly not me....... as byebyebridgetjones says I don't miss it one little bit.

I often wonder why we punished ourselves for all those years ?

1144 bottles of gin - when I stopped I was on half a bottle on a 'school night' with slimline tonic because it was less calories than wine... jesus.
Very conservative estimate - because any time there was an occasion - even the weekend FFS- there was wine & beer too.

And there was the top up before & usually after being out.
Oh GAWD !! Cringeworthy.
