5 years, 6 months, and 20 days of living life being grateful for every single day I stay sober...
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

                              Thanks Satzumamazeball.

Well, i thought i was committed, and i was but kept falling back to self medicate. What helped for me was checking in on myself more formally EVERY morning to start the day. i developed a simple daily self care routine that i can handle. I do this every day no matter what no matter who no matter where. 1. Speed yoga (minimum 1 set of sun salutation which is around 10 moves) 2. minimum 5 mindful breaths. usually 5 minutes meditation. focus on the breath and ignore the mind. Gratitude - write down one thing minimum.

This daily non negotiable commitment along with a concious move towards 24/7 positive thinking with a purpose/clear goals to go for is likely what has made this quit stick.

Hope you're going ok and YS is ok.
