    Re: 4 April

    Greetings friends,

I never did get on the site yesterday, glad it’s fixed now. Happy Easter to all.
We’ve had a sunny day, 60 some degrees but no company so it’s been rather quiet. We get our 2nd dose of vaccine on the 19th, looking forward to being a little more social at that point.
I roasted a turkey breast so there’s tons of leftovers for the rest of the week. The landscaping is done & looks really good. I think we will be getting that young guy back to help with a few more jobs around this too big yard.

Mick, allergies, ugh! Name one & I probably have it on my list haha! There’s 2 ways to figure it out, 1. Get tested by an allergist & 2. Do an elimination of possibilities & see if there’s improvement in your symptoms. I have year round nose congestion so I think something in my house is causing it - namely the cat. I remember the itchy eyes & nose when we had a rabbit way back when. OTC can be helpful but they don’t take care of it all. I was told to take 2 Zyrtec daily instead of 1 & I still have symptoms. Good luck on your mission finding the cause. See if your symptoms clear when you’re away from the bunnies & the straw/hay!!!

Hello PQ, glad this has been a non-work weekend for you

Hello to Pauly & Det, hope you ae enjoying yourselves.

Cyn, the warmish weather is back for the whole week, yay! I think we’ve had enough cold weather this year. Hope your day has been good.

Sam & Pie, hello to y uo as well.

    Have a nice night all!

      MAE ALL...

Couldn't get on Friday and tried again on Saturday, kept getting your system might be compromised so did a Chrome security update. OMG, you'd think I would know better. Lost all my bookmarks, passwords, etc. Thank God for the "reset to original" button. LOL Popped in on Saturday and then poof the site was down again. Glad to see it's up and working again.

Mick...glad somebody's getting good weather. Had a bit of sun at 8am, then rain, then a complete white out! Gotta love Spring in Alberta. Haven't been able to get warm all day. So it's bed, book and blanket early tonight. I hope your weather stays good for your jaunt next week but knowing you it won't stop you if it isn't.

Lav...wow, good job on getting the landscaping done. That young guy sounds like a keeper. The only work I did this weekend was sort out my computer. A lesson I soon won't forget. Still can't get Mario working but will make my son fix that. LOL I have year round nose congestion and it's definitely something in my house, probably the dust. Should really get on that.

Det...looking forward to hearing about your adventure when you get back.

Pauly...Happy Easter to you, hope your day was good.

Shout out to Pi, Sam and TG. Here's hoping there's no snow tomorrow. Have a good night all....:smile:PPQP

        Happy Easter/Spring holiday to all!

Zander the wonderdog and I set out early to the Storag place... I think I have finally opened all of my boxes now, and turned them so that the descriptive labels are showing... good thing for the next time I need something. A strange way to spend Easter, but it was a nice day for a drive (for the first time in awhile).

Sending lots of good wishes to all - take care,
        TG

Mae everybody, yep hard time getting on so I just waved spiritually haha hope everyone had a nice Easter, I made way too much food but we'll eat the leftovers tonight, Mick when I got my allergy test done Timothy hay was on the list so I bought the guinea pigs some alfalfa hay but they didn't like it(picky brats) so I'm stuck with it, we should just call this the chronic stuffed nose group haha,, PQ, glad you got your files and passwords back yikes! Lav, I'm surprised the kids didn't stop by for Easter? Maybe I misread, Det hope you're having fun in Moab, it's pretty there, much love to all and wishes for a great BF Monday!
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

              Re: 4 April

Finally got on the site tonight, geez. I thought things had been fixed around here, Lol
Nice day here, sunny & 70 degrees, perfect really.

PQ, I am screwed if I lose my passwords, haha. I have little to no short term memory. Glad you got it straightened out.
Hope you managed to stay warm yesterday

Cyn, sounds like your day was pretty good & you got your storage straightened out, nice. I kinda doubt anyone had a ‘normal’ holiday again this year, like last year.
I picked up one of those big bags of broccoli florets at COSTCO today & made a pot of soup to go with the turkey sandwiches. That took up most of my day haha.

Pauly. My son & his family stopped here briefly Saturday evening as they returned from their vacation, picked up their dog & went right home. My son had to be at work at 4 am Sunday morning in DC so no holiday celebration. I’m kinda glad to have so many stuffy nose people here on this thread with me, no kidding. Maybe we’re just extra special

Mick, your snow then no snow pics were incredible. It’s almost as if Mother Nature knew she messed up haha!
Keep a ‘diary’ of what you’ve done on the days your nose is most stuffy then you should be able to locate the cause - detective work really. I purchased more Zyrtec at COSTCO today even though it doesn’t help me much, oh well.

Hello to Det, hope your trip is going well.

              Hi tp Sam & Pie.

              Have a nice night all.

                  Greetings friends!

Mick my beak has definitely been working overtime today, stuffed & sneezing at the same time haha!!
I do have an aerosol saline spray I use for my nose symptoms, works well when I actually remember to use it of course.
Sunny & 70 ish again today but the tree pollens are vicious!! I imagine you have pollen issues going on now too Mick. Do you have a humidifier hooked up with your heating system? I think it helps quite a bit. Looks like your helper did quite a bit of work today, good for him

Hello to PQ, Pauly, Cyn, Det, Sam & Pie. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Can’t believe my younger grandson turned 10 today - time certainly flies . No more fun with the toddlers, it was fun but it was also exhausting haha!

Just us again Mick? Where is everyone??

I did see your video Mick, the deer were precious & probably on the way to chewing up someone’s fruit trees, haha!
YB had to go see the eye specialist again today, keeping an eye on the ‘freckle’ in the back of one of his eyes. There’s been no change in 6 months so that was good. I had to do the 45 minute drive home because he was basically blinded by all the eye drops they used. Some wanker in a pickup truck sped by me on the left & hit the driver’s side mirror - scared the crap out of me. He just kept going, never a thought about stopping. My mirror is actually OK because it folded inwards toward me, not a scratch on it. What a jerk!!!
Sunny here for the most part & 70 degrees again so no complaints. Make sure Jeeves follows directions for your garden, haha!

Hello to PQ, Cyn, Pauly, Det, Sam & Pie. Hope everyone is OK.

Sorry for not keeping up with everyone but have been dealing with restoring our Racquet Club website thanks to the Program Coordinator thinking she knew what she was doing. Aarrgg! It's supposed to go live on Wednesday! On top of that my newsletter deadline is this Friday and yet again I'm waiting for the Program Coordinator to submit her articles. OK, enough venting about the PC!

We have gone back to a partial lockdown due to the P1 variant but I fear it's not going to be enough. I can see a full lockdown coming in 2 weeks. I certainly wouldn't want our Premier's job right now. Just staying home and staying safe.

It was a nice 60F today but snow is on it's way again tonight. Hoping everyone is doing ok....:smile:PPQP

Mae all, so sorry to be away... inundated with details, and packing up once again to move... this will be the last time of moving here in the east - next step, get in the car and head west... so I have been lost in the world of "details and what is going where now?!"

Lav, I gasped out loud when I read about your car mirror. I'm glad the guy just kept driving, I read recently about an altercation on the I95 corridor that was chilling. Road rage and guns definitely don't mix well. Sorry about the allergies - good luck with that. But I bet the blooming trees are beautiful (from afar!). Take care of yourself.

Pauly, always so good to hear from you - good luck with those guinea pigs and allergies!

Mick, Jeeves is doing a superb job in the yard. So glad you are OK taking your instructions from him. Loved the poem, made me laugh, thank you!

PPQ, you sound crazed at work, so sorry! Stay in, stay well... now the Brit variant is the major strain in the US... you stay well!

Hello to Det, Sam and all...

New moon on Sunday... time to think about intentions... I love seeing the moon sliver early in the mornings before the light comes on fully...

Money. Our governor is rumored to be getting rid of masks on May first, whatever I'm still gonna wear mine, I get that people are bored at this point but I'd really hate to see cases skyrocket again for being careless, Lav, can't believe your grands have gotten so grown up!
