    Re: 20 june

    Happy Father’s Day greetings!

    Low key ‘holiday’ here, haha!
Too hot & humid to be out so I spent the afternoon working on some new craft items for Friday night’s show. Proud to say my B/P was good last evening & again this morning but will stay away from salty stuff & caffeine & keep the fingers crossed.

Mick, it’s true that the class of BP meds we’re on causes runny nose & other gross stuff. Guess I’ve just adjusted to it over the years. I guess people can just call us snotty, haha!!
Glad you’re feeling better today, I am as well. Wish the weather wasn’t so disgusting but it’s now officially summer.

PQ, if & when you need a new laptop look for a Lenovo sale, love mine
    Glad your weekend is quiet.

Cyn, hope your weekend is going well & relaxing.

Same to you Pauly & Det.

    Hello to Sam & Pie.

Think i’ll get back to work for a while, Friday is coming up fast
    Have a nice night all!

        MAE ALL...

Mick...I don't blame you for being cynical. Of course the reschedule will be on a day it's supposed to rain! Did you get your results back?

Lav...it's hot here but thankfully not humid. Glad the B/P readings are better.

just got off a 3 hr meeting with the boss so need to find something to eat. Hope everyone else is doing ok....:smile:PPQP

          Greetings friends,

Thunderstorm watch in effect so I have to hurry, haha! Trying to chase chickens in before a storm hits is always a thrill.

Mick, glad you’re getting better. Don’t sweat the garage door, it will get done & look nice too

PQ, congrats for sitting still for 3 hrs, Lol. I can’t do that anymore, I get too stiff!!!

Putzing around with crafty stuff again today, nothing real exciting.

            Mae all,

Sorry to miss yesterday... I did a lot of "regular" work, then challenged myself to write some things for my blog email, then had to update the blog... this is too hard for a tired mind that is not so familiar with all this... but I muddled through... then remembered I wanted to post for Father's Day, and ended up in some special post about dogs, and posted my stepdaughter in with the dogs, sheesh... I would love to take a technology break! But that's not going to happen, so I had better buck up.

Glad to hear you two are doing better, Mick and Lav. Mick, hope the test is negative and that you continue to feel better. Lav, good luck with continuing this streak - sorry about the caffeine, but worth it I guess.

PPQ, I'm with Lav... too long to sit! I did a 3-hour meeting last Friday, but we were able to have breaks. Wishing you a good week.

Thinking of you Pauly, hope things are better. Same to Det - wishing you well. And to Sam and Pie and all others...

The moon is gorgeous tonight - I saw it rise... it looked huge... happy summer, all...

                Good evening friends,

Rained all day after that big storm last night. I think we’ve had enough for a while
I’m hearing reports of a tree blown down thru the roof of a house not too far away, etc. great start to the summer!!!

Cyn, I never have enough time or energy for all the technology stuff I think I should be doing, ugh. I know you have big responsibilities to attend to so I wish you good luck.
At this point in our lives I think rest/sleep has to take priority!!!

Mick, I’m ready for a day or two of nice weather after all this funky stuff. We will be setting up for a craft show late Friday afternoon so I’m hoping it doesn’t get hot again. Currently 67v degrees heading down to 50 tonight, yay!!

PQ, hope your day was good!

Pauly & Det, thinking of you guys & hope all is oK

MAE ALL...It's a 100 degrees out there! Well 92F but who counts the change! Been under the gun since Monday to schedule all the fall long term renters, update the Terms & Conditions and edit their Rental Agreements to be part of a virtual meeting at 10am tomorrow where we are to discuss swapping out our whole accounting software. OMG WTF been busting my ass to make it happen and just now decided it's not going to. Sent a meeting reschedule request to the boss and I don't really care what he feels about that.

Lav...stiff is an understatement of how I felt. Been seeing all the devastation that's happening with the tornadoes, fear it's going to get worse. Hope you got all the chicks bedded down yesterday. Hope the weather is good for you on Friday.

TG...I sure hear you about a technology break, I'm ready for one too. When your mind starts going in circles it's time to take a break and go for a walk. Don't throw out the laptop top, it's not it's fault. With working from home I sometimes feel like I'm not holding up my end, NOT ANY MORE! LOL Be good to yourself.

Mick...glad the results were negative, we all thought they would be. Hope the doc can figure out the gunky feeling in your chest. There was an outcome to the 3hr meeting, more shit on my plate. I think I've handled it, see above.

Time to shut everything down and tune out. Hope you all have a good night...:smile:PPQP

                    Mae all,

Tired Cindy again... sorry, will try to write earlier in the day! More different kinds of work today, plus a lovely lunch with new friends next door. The husband was a wonderful, addition to our govermpnme t in the 80s and 90s, and I was proud to make his aquaintance on his 83rd birthday....

More work, but got a walk in. Seeing the chiro tomorrow... painful shoulders and back tonight so I'm taking meds and going to bed.

Sorry not address all individually - will catch up tomorrow...

                    Sending light and energy...

                        Heya ABeroooooos near and far!

whew! missing in action as often i am. Just bouncing along between tenuous work and awkward family energies. I have managed to connect more with girly in this last week than
perhaps in our entire time together which is amazing. I realize these things go in ups and downs so not counting on a permanent new state of things, but it's still a blessing.
made another networking lunch yesterday with a fabulous group and picked up a client right off the bat...wow. shooting his house this morning. yay!

Fathers day is a hard one here with the girls past experiences not that many years ago but we made it through ok with a trip to a local fair/carnival thing and more fun fireworks.

Tree, so neat your are blogging. I've only got a couple of rather aged entries on my site and should really get back to it. It can be a rather complex affair for those who get into
the tech side deeply. I also have only so much patience for tech even though I love/hate it. ha!

Mick, you industrious man you. our 2 porch gardens are slowly growing... will have to take some pics soon. not a proper garden like yours but then again we're on the 3rd floor

Lav, glad things seem mellow there. My new Refuge meditation/recovery group is awesome and really looking forward to my next session tomorrow night.

Even with all the positive (yet hectic) things bubling around me, I've had to brush away some pretty hefty AL cravings over the past week. dunno why they pop up but letting them
drift is working so long as I'm centered and focused. whew. glad to be doing well there, that's for sure.

The pool is open if I didn't mention it before so the wee one and i had a blast yesterday afternoon and totally wore ourselves out having healthy fun. The thought of just the 2 of us having
fun together seemed like a distant dream only a month ago.

Oh, and last night I actually picked up a darn 'real' book and have begun. It's 'how to practice' by the Dalai Lama himself. very good so far.

Wishing you all a peaceful and inspiring Wednesday.

                        be well loves

                          Good evening Abbers,

Glad to report a sunny no rain day for a change, yay!!
Weather is supposed to hold the rest of the week, sure hope for a decent Friday evening for the craft show.

PQ, I’d be pulling my hair out with your job, no kidding!! Seems like too many people putting their opinions & wishes in the pot all at once. It’s a shame the boss doesn’t have better control over the group instead of letting it be a free for all I hope you can get things sorted without too much hair pulling. And try to get a little R&R in for yourself.

Cyn, too many late nights for you lately. It’s hard to wind down & get some sleep after all that. Hope things lighten up for you soon.

Mick, hope the garage job is done & you’re happy with the results.
I’ve been waking up early too but I’m generally not too productive until after 10- ish, haha!!

Det, glad to hear you’re getting more work & making friends with the teen as well. I’d call that a definite win
Also glad to hear you like your new group, we need all the help we can get. Drinking thoughts haven’t been a huge issue for me for a long time but I am aware of the habitual nature of them. As long as we remember that drinking is what we used to do/not what we do anymore I think we’re safe! I learned to label those those thoughts as bad things & learned to push them out of my head, don’t let them linger. It’s worked for 12+ years for me so I’ll keep doing that

                          Pauly, thinking about you dear.

                          Hello to Sam & Pie.

Have a nice night all. I need to go give a little hospice care to one of my chickens. She hasn’t looked good for a few days, hasn’t eaten on her own. I try to get a little food & water into her, I think she appreciates my efforts.

                            MAE ALL...

TG...hope you got some rest last night and the chiro helped with the aches. I bet a lot of it is stress, I can relate.

Mick...it was a cooler day here which I appreciated since I had to go help the prog coord again with the Farm Stand. Although it was cooler standing outside for 3 hours sure took it's tole on me. I was totally wiped out when I got home and didn't do any work. We've got some thunderstorms starting just to the west of us and it's supposed to rain tomorrow. Then we're heading to record high temps for the weekend, I'll be hibernating! Hope the garage is fixed to your satisfaction.

Det...sounds like you're a busy guy too. So good to read that you and girlie are getting along better and you're right it will be up and down so enjoy it while it's up. Nice job on the networking and scoring a shoot. Sorry to hear about the cravings but you've got this and keep brushing them off, they'll go away soon. I'm so pleased you're happy with your new refuge group, it seems to help you a lot. Blogging...just make me cringe!

Lav...fingers crossed your weather holds up for Friday evening. Managed to get most stuff sorted out this morning but have a bit more to do tomorrow, I wasn't even going to attempt it after I got home this afternoon. Hope your hospice care is working and I'm sure she appreciates it. I'm counting down the days till the boss takes holidays, I won't even mind going into work during that time because I'm going to take 3 weeks off when he gets back! Everybody can just fend for themselves. LOL

Shout out to the rest of the gang. Have a good night all....:smile:PPQP
