Trim crusts from bread, and cut slices into 4 squares. Arrange on bottom of baking dish and around sides, forming a crust. Place cheese slices on top of bread, overlapping to make them fit. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, cream, and seasonings. Stir in spinach and soup. Pour over cheese and bake for about 25 minutes, or until center is firm. Cool slightly and cut into 3" squares for a main dish, or smaller ones as a pick-up appetizer.
