This is a great thread. This is why I came here in the first place. Everyone should read this thread regularly.
I don't miss the pompous ass who often said "I'm not that bad" Or I'm not as bad as so and so, yet I can relate to nearly everything posted here.
I Do miss some of the people who posted on this thread. I do hope they're sober and well.

I often wonder how the others are doing. I often think of Puddleduck & Flossie, amongst many. I hope they are all. I don't come here often enough. I always felt like a fraud till I had some decent time clocked up!. It is such a lonely disease.

I still do not miss the anxiety guilt and self loathing. Because EVERY thing I did when drinking was full of anxiety and guilt and self loathing. It was so dark.

I wouldn't have had time today and heaven forbid that the hygienist and dentist find out my nasty little secret...

I don't miss the strong sense of fear that i felt. But at 100 + days sober, i just get stronger and more fearless. Hopefully some common sense tags along as well.

What I deffo don't miss is using wine in cooking only as an excuse to buy it & 'store it'.
Just thought of that now - making a chicken casseroley thing and used some red wine I had in cupboard since Christmas :egad:
It would have been one swig for dish & 10 for me....
The bottle was empty so I said to MrS in a joke - "this is empty now & I'm 'pished' is that ok?"
He looked & said nothing ! ..................
