time for drink? time for sobriety...

think about all the time you have put into drinking...some folks hide it, some plan it out, some go to any lengths to find it. some lose kids, marriages, friends, and family while pursuing drinking. it takes a lot of work and a lot of time to drink everyday and to recover from the effects of drinking everyday.

now, put that much time and effort into getting and staying sober.

yepper! its a new way of life, not just "not drinking". I could still be a selfish asshole if I don't keep an eye out for that way of thinking that says "FUCK IT, i'm gonna drink!".

I guess i'm feeling introspective about sobriety and how ive made it almost a year after so many years of trying trying trying...

    peace!

And you make a damn fine point Betty.
It takes much more time to be a drunk than it ever will to get on with your life and make it a good one.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
