Re: International Army February 2020

Dear 11 year old boy,
I think those gifts are all perfectly age-appropriate, if that's what you're into.

Molly, I'm 54 now and according to my contemporaries I have entered invisible age, but I decided that nobody will be making me invisible unless I allow it. So I will not be engaging with invisibility unless or until it suits me. End of. As for the work idiots, I've said my piece about those numpties. I've stopped giving them answers and smoothing the path ahead for them so they're fooked. Yesterday in a public forum one of them was late and did nothing to help me for the event. So I bided (bid?) my time, waited until question time and dropped him right the feck into it. Best Friday in a long time. These people need to realise that we've been around a lot longer than them and we can be wily old biddies. Don't fook with us.

I think I'm off on a tangent there but that was a fun rant anyway.

Brit- go to bed and do not emerge until you want. I'm so glad Mr Brit is feeling better. It's a long road, hey?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Why are you suddenly getting all of these cyclones and things? How annoying.

Rusters, we have to get back on track. No sense paying the membership unless we push on. Maybe we need a motivational specialist , like that big Tony man, what's his name? Massive thing he is, American.

Excellent finish to the week byebyebridgetjones.

Molly, I dont know where that decade went, maybe it doesnt feature as much in your head, with the decades before and after having major life events like babies and getting sober.
I wont be doing invisible either, certainly not after my last hair appointment, I may have overdone the blonde highlights! But they're growing on me now, pun intended

I like a bit of stormzy too... well not the one that starting to pelt down outside.

Oh and Fringe = bangs Bridge. Why would anyone call a fringe a bang? and its bangs, which is plural?? how can that be??
lets call the whole thing off

Yes bangs. I've always wondered about that. Wonder if you've got one bang on either side of your head. Hey Mary you must look like your avatar now with your highlights.

Morning,
One of my first thoughts this morning after my usual being gratefulness I'm still this side of the turf is that the next 29th February in 2024 is I'll have my pension and bus pass. I'll be unstoppable.

Bangs is one of those words I used to 'read' over. Hadn't got a clue what they were.

byebyebridgetjones......welcome to invisibility........its hard but not unsurmountable. First rule...............do not under any circumstance wear beige.
Headscarves are out.
It may be helpful to carry a paddle with 'I'M TALKING' in red to be waved at appropriate moments.

IamMary..........I saw Stormzy in full flow at Glastonbury............ I wasn't there it was on TV. Saw him again on Hootananny where he's drop all the errrrrrr 'colourful' language. I dunno, he just seems to be on a mission for not only the black community but the poor white together..........how's that for a bit of politics.
And he's scared of his mum and grandma.

brit............I'll send Mr. JC round with a bit of lamb biryani later on. There's no rugby so he's got nothing else to do.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

I knew what a ‘fringe’ was only because of the “Little House on the Prairie” books!: a new hairstyle fad at school when Laura was in her teens was the “lunatic fringe”!
But Pa was Scottish, and I think Ma was of English descent, so it makes sense that they would call it a fringe! (And actually, “fringe” makes a lot more sense than “bangs”.)

Luckily I had a British sister-in-law, so curries feature regularly in my life too: I had lamb biryani this week as well!

Still waiting for Mr JC and my curry, but never mind I am off to youngest daughter for some dinner. We have to wait until the end of the Liverpool match on TV as Mr A is addicted to footie.
Didn't run this morning but volunteered to Marshall instead it was harder work standing around in the freezing cold.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend

I'll get Mr. JC to bring it down in the morning. He'll have to just chuck it over the hedge as he's got to be back tp pick up my aunt who's coming for lunch...................nthego:
Mind you its just short of hot as the sun.

Slo...........my bangs/fringe is longer than Cousin It's. Hides the wrinkles.

I know what I'll be doing with that paddle.

Morning all,
Today I will be mowing and making scones for the family, who are descending as per most Sundays.
Then I owe a call to the drunk cousin who will slur at me and generally be defensive about imaginary things, not knowing that she is doing me an enormous service in reinforcing my reasons for staying sober. Good times.
